Handyman Saitō in Another World

The Handyman Saitō in Another World is a fantasy and isekai Japanese manga and anime series. Also, the manga was first serialized online in October 2018 via Kadokawa Shoten’s ComicWalker website. The manga is written by the Manga Artist, Kazutomo Ichitomo. As of now, the manga has completed eight volumes.

Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on January 8, 2023, via the Original Network, Tokyo MX. Also, the anime is directed by the director, Toshiyuki Kubooka. The anime series has 12 episodes.

Main Plot

The main plot of the anime follows a handyman whose name is Saitō. Also, Saitō was not appreciated for what he does in his job. Though he was very good at his job, he was not even picked up, as he has done it great. One day, he was fired from his job too. So, after being rejected he accidently goes front of the truck which coming in speed and he was frequently placed into fantasy world as he opens his eyes.

In the new fantasy world, he was in the adventuring party. Also, he was surrounded by the unique people there. Some were heavy warriors, wizards, and fairy p princesses. ere, he was treated as a very different person, as people find him very helpful. In addition, he keeps on doing good in the fantasy world and starts making new friends.

Main Characters

Saitō

Saitō is the main protagonist of the series. Adding to that, he is the handyman in the series. Also, he was reincarnated in the fantasy world, where he is very good at picking locks and repairing equipment. Also, he is good at these activities and can use the pre-reincarnation knowledge.

Due to his low fighting abilities, he thinks of himself as a problem. Whereas, in the new world, he still becomes able to gain the trust of people at parties and adventures. In terms of appearance, Saitō has dark brown hair and eyes.

Raelza

Raelza is an adopted daughter of Marlock. Adding on, she is actually the main fighter for the adventuring party of Saitō. Going back to her past, she was a slave girl. Also, she lost her parents when she was small, and she was living with the pack of wolves.

Later, Marlock takes her and makes her his daughter. In addition, Marlock cares for and loves her a lot. Even more, she fears long creatures, mostly eels. As well, she starts to have crush on Saitō but feels very shy to tell him. She falls for him after watching his personality and behavior.

Lafanpan

Lafapan is a female fairy in a series. She has very good healing abilities. Also, she can make the dead come alive using her magic. But, in return, she takes gold coins, whether it’s an unknown person or a friend. Adding on, she is very popular for her magic too.

The gold coin that she earns from this, she takes it all and offers it to the Goddesses of the Moon. The reason for it was that the Goddesses of Moon have cursed that her family line and race will be smaller if she does not receive offerings on a regular basis.

Morlock

Morlock is the father of Raelza. But, he is not the real father of Raelza. Also, his role in the adventuring party is that of a mage. He is very good at performing his magic. Even though he is bad because he is suffering from a disease called dementia, It makes him forget which side is up.

The reason for it was the curse he received 20 years ago. When he was going to learn the old magic, he was cursed. Even more, his real name was Bergheim Chrome. Due to his curse, he has even forgotten his old name. Adding on, he likes every female he meets.

Mevena

Mevena is also an important character in the series. In the series, she is very good at doing business. She is a girl who provides various weapons and equipment that are required for the adventures.

But from her looks, she feels like a normal girl, but she is very fast in the business sector. As well, she can easily recognize the price of the things she is going to trade after looking at them.

Gibungle

Gibungle is a dwarf in the series. In addition, he was a student of Morlock. Later, Morlock forgets due to his curse, and he leaves as his student. Though he is a dwarf, he is able to possess the capability to use arcane magic. This helped him a lot in order to become a natural mage.

Will there be season 2 of Handyman Saitō in Another World?

As of now, the first season has already finished. The last episode of the anime was aired on March 26, 2023. Some anime release the news about the second season as the first is finished. But it is not revealed whether this anime series will get a second season or not. Heading towards another part, the anime might get a second episode if it gains popularity worldwide too.

As the manga as well as the merchandise keep on increasing in sales, it is sure that we will be getting a second season of the anime. Also, not all of the chapters of the manga are shown in the anime. So, we can expect that there is a high possibility for season 2 of this anime. If there is a second season, it will be adapted from Volume 5 of the manga, where Raelza goes missing.
