Records of Ragnarok AKA Shūmatsu no Warukyūre is a Japanese action, superpower, supernatural, anime series. This anime series is written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and directed by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. It was released on June 17, 2021. Every 1000 years, god reunites and decides the fate of all human kinds. But the time has come, after 7 million years of human history, they decide that humans must go extinct. However, one of our main protagonists valkyrie Brunhilde asked all the gods to give humanity one last chance and start a battle with Ragnarok. Ragnarok is a battle between 13 gods and 13 humans. Those who win the 7 matches first, will win the Ragnarok.

1. Zeus – The God of the sky || Record of Ragnarok characters
Zeus is one of the Record of Ragnarok characters. According to ancient Greek mythology, Zeus is a ruler, protector, and god of the sky. He is as known as the Godfather of the cosmos. In Ragnarok he powerful old man with sunken eyes. He is a winner of the second Ragnarok match. In which he fought with the first human, Adam. He is a young and muscular genius man filled with different intelligence capabilities. Besides, He is related to the gods Thor and Odin. According to the Norse Methodology, Loki is a God who has a superhuman ability to physically transform into other different forms. Loki has a son named Narfi and Nari with his beloved wife Sigyn. A Japanese voice artist, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka gave his voice to Loki’s character. Similarly, English voice is done by Ryan Colt Levy.
3. God Of Destruction- Shiva Record of Ragnarok
Shiva AKA Mahadev is a god of the god, one of the greatest gods of Hinduism. He is also the strongest God of destruction in heaven. Talking about their physical appearance he has four arms and five eyes. However, he only shows three of them, when he is angry he opens all five eyes. The voice-over for God Shiva is done by Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Japanese) and Benjamin Diskin (English).
Shiva is the representative of God’s side in the fifth round of Ragnarok. He fought against the world’s most powerful sumo wrestler, Raiden Tameemon. He wins the match against him.

4. Apollo – Greek God || Record of Ragnarok characters
Apollo is a greek god and is considered a son of Zeus. He is a God of healing, medicine, artery, and music. Besides, sometimes he is introduced as a son of the sun. He is one of the characters, who will represent a fighter from god side. His matches are not yet decided.
5. Champion of the Olympians- Hercules Record of Ragnarok
Hercules fought the fourth round of the Ragnarok from god’s side with an infamous serial killer, Jack the Ripper. He fought him fearlessly but in the end, he could not win against Jack the Ripper. While fighting with Jack the Ripper he shows everyone his massive force and powerful spells such as Herculean Exodus, Earth devouring Roar, Breeze-calling Bird, Hoof of Raging Bull, Great Hero Blow, etc. One interesting fact is that he never wants to destroy humanity. He always supports humanity and supports humanity.
Hercules is a Greco-Roman legendary fighter and a god. He is also a champion of the Olympians. He is a true warrior and has a great fighting spirit.
6. Most Fearsome God- Poseidon Record of Ragnarok

7. Susano’o No Mikato – God Of the Sea
He is a Japanese god, who is considered a god of the sea.
He is one chosen god who will participate in the future of the Ragnarok match. His opponent will be one of the human representatives. There is not much information about him.
8. Thor – Noric god of thunder
Thor is a Noric god of thunder as well as one of the strongest warriors. He has a muscular body and holds a huge thor hammer.
Thor fought the first Ragnarok battle with the human representative Chinese greatest warrior general and warlord, LU BU. He won that match and got the first victory against humans on the behalf of God. He shows his tremendous skills, such as a gigantic divine hammer, Mjölnir, and two divine gloves, Járngreipr on the battlefield. The Japanese voice is given by the voice artist, Hikaru Midorikawa and the English voice are by Jalen K. Cassell.
9. Bishamonten | Zerofuku – god of fortune/misfortune
Bishamonten is a god of fortune and leader of the seven lucky gods.
He is fighting with one of the coolest gods and wild card, Buddha, in the sixth round of Ragnarok. He is fused with the seven remaining luck gods and becomes a powerful Zerofuku to defeat the Buddha. Zerofuku is also known as a misfortune and zero fortune. He is also in original form in the past of all seven luck gods. His godly strength, speed, and reflexes make him very invincible and a perfect match for Buddha.

10. Ancient Egyptian god- Anubis Record of Ragnarok
Anubis is one of the strongest ancient Egyptian gods. He has the power of death and darkness.
He is one of the chosen gods who will represent Heaven in the match of Ragnarok against humanity, shortly.

Odin is the king of the Norse gods and came from Norse mythology.
He is also chosen god who will participate in the battle against humans in Ragnarok in near future. There is no exact information about his who will be his opponent in the Ragnarok Arena. He is the father of the god Thor. According to the source, his voice Japanese voice-over is done by the Japanese actor and singer, Show Hayami. Besides, his English voice-over is done by Bill Butts.
12. Philistine god- Beelzebub Record of Ragnarok
Beelzebub is a Philistine god and one of the seven powerful devils. He is also known as Lord of the Flies. Talking about his physical appearance in Ragnarok he is a tall man with messy black hair.
He is one of the strongest god representatives who will fight against humans in the near future. An opponent of the god is still a mystery.
13. wild card & Trouble maker- Buddha Record of Ragnarok
He is actually one of the participants from the god side. Unfortunately, he is a troublemaker for god. He shockingly chooses a human side to battle. His true intention is not shown in the story. He will represent humanity in the sixth match of Ragnarok. He is fighting with the Shinto god of fortune Bishamonten / Zerofuku – god of fortune/misfortune.

However, in this Record of Ragnarok series, he is very charming and with a tall and muscular personality. He wears his cool sunglasses with his blue robes.
