Tokyo revengers
Tokyo revengers is science fictional, action thriller Japanese manga and anime. The manga was illustrated by the Japanese Manga artist, Ken Wakui. In March, 2017, the manga was first serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine under Seven Sea Entertainments. The Manga also received Kodansha Manga Award for under Shonen category in the year 2020. Currently, the anime has 25 volumes.
Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on the on 11th April 2021 in the English network, Animax Asia. The anime is directed by the director, Koichi Hatsumi and written by Yasuyuki Muto. As of now, the anime has completed its first season with 4 episodes.
Main Plot
The main plot of the anime is based on the life of the life events of 26 years old freelancer, Takemichi Hanagaki, who has an ability to time and change the past events. Hanagaki reached the absolute bottom of his life when he learnt that his middle school girl-friend, Hinata Tachibana and his brother, Naoto were killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang.
The character learned about his characters for the first time, when he got teleported 12 years before at the platform when he was pushed to the moving train. Just after a handshake, he suddenly teleported back to the present time with the change of events that Naoto is still alive in the present time. After knowing the impact of the past events in the present time, he promised that he would save Hinata.
Characters
Takemichi Hanagaki
Takemichi Hanagaki, a freelancer is the main protagonist of the series. Hanagaki has the ability travel time and change the action sequences and its consequences. In the series, he has been portrayed as a generous boy vowed to save the life of his ex-girlfriend , Hinata with his ability to travel the time.
In the process of his vow, he becomes the one of the top members of the Tokyo Manji Gang.
The character is voiced the voice actor, Shin Yuki played the character Takemichi. Also, the artist, Yuki is renowned on the anime world for his world such as Natsu Todoroki in My Hero Academia, and Tata Percival in Mariarty. Currently, He is affiliated with the Ken Production.
Whereas, the English voice for the characters is contributed by the voice actor, AJ Beckles provided the voice. Some of his projects includes Baki Hanma, Kemono Jihen.
Hinata Tachibana
Hinata Tachibana is one of the main female protagonist of Japanese anime series Tokyo Revengers. Tachibana is an incredibly determined and strong-willed character who can go to any extend to protect the people she cares. Also, she happens to be the middle school love interest of the Takemichi. Nevertheless, the only one love of Takemichi’s life.
In the original timeline of the series, Hinata was killed by the Manji Gang as the result of the clash of two rivalry gangs. Also, the lovebirds parted their ways in original and second timeline. In the original timeline, she dumped Hanagaki. On the contrary, Hanagaki brokeup with her in the in the later timeline. However, she is sole reason for Takemichi willing to go to past and change the future so that, they could be together with each other
Japanese oice for the character is contributed by the Japanese Voice actress, Azumi Waki. Currently, she works for the Haikyō production. She debuted in 2015 in video game named The Idol Master Cinderella Girls.
Also, the English dubbed version for the character is voiced by the American voice actress Lizzie Freeman. As of now, she is affiliated with the Bang Zoom! Entertainment and Studiopolis. Some of her outstanding works includes Sword Art Online and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Naoto Tachibana
Naoto Tachibana is one of the supporting characters of the anime series. He is a younger brother of Hinata Tachibana. In the original timeline, he was killed along with his elder sister, Hinata. However, in the second timeline, he is alive and living his life as a detective.
Like Takemichi, he also shares the same desire to save his sister, Hinata. Also, he happens to be the only one person in the entire earth who knows about Takemichi’s time leaping ability.
The Japanese voice actor Ryōta Ōsaka voiced the character Naoto Tachibana for Japanese voice. Currently, he is affiliated with the talent management company, Early Wing. Following it, he has voiced Also, he voiced the anime like Ace of Diamond, Magi: The Kingdom of Magi, and Demond Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba as Eijun Sawamura, Sphintus Carmen, and Gyutaro respectively.
Also, the English Voice artist, Griffin Puatu contributed his voice to the English dubbed version.
Manjiro Sano
Manjiro Sano is the antagonist at the end of the series and also goes by the nickname, Mikey . He happens to be one of the strongest characters of the series. Also, he happens to be the founding member of the Tokyo Manji Gang.
As per him, he is the pillar of the Toman. Hence, he believes that if he displays any sign of weakness, then Toman will be weak.
The Japanese voice actor Yū Hayashi potaryed the character Manjiro Sano. Hayashi is also the vocalist of band named Screen Mode. As of now, He is also affiliated with Ken production.
Moving towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actor Aleks Le provided the voice. He works with Bang Zoom! Entertainment, Studiopolis, NYAV Post, SDI Media and VSI Los Angels. Some of his projects includes Demon Slayer, Dorehodora, and Kuroko’s Basketball.
Ken Ryuguji
Ken Ryuguji is also known as “Draken”. He is the vice-president of Tokyo Manji Gang. Even more, he is one of the founding member of the gang too.
The Japanese voice actor and singer Tatsuhisa Suzuki played the character Ken Ryuguji for providing Japanese voice. He is known by his stage name Ta_2. Moreover, he is the vocalist of rock band Oldcodex. He has even voice Shiva in Record of Ragnarok. Currently, he is with I’m Enterprise and Lantis.
Moving towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actor and streamer Sean Edward Chiplock provided the voice. Some of his projects include Haikyuu, Hunter X Hunter, and Re-zero.
Masataka Kiyomizu
Masataka Kiyomizu is also an antagonist of Japanese anime series Tokyo Revengers. He is even leader of gang named Kiyomasa. Moreover, he is former member of Toman. He generally uses to organize the underground fights.
The Japanese voice actor Satoshi Hino played the character Masata Kiyomizu for providing Japanese voice. Besides the series, he has also voiced in Gintama, Ju Jutsu Kaisen, and Demon Slayer.
Atsuhi Sendō
Atsuhi Sendō is a member of Tokyo Manji Gang. He is also known as “Akkun”. At alternative timeline he is the admin of Tokyo Manji Gang. He is good friend of Takemichi.
The Japanese voice actor and singer Takuma Terashima played the character Atsuhi Sendō. Terashima is an alumna of Tokyo Announce Gakuin. He also been a part of the popular anime includes in Black Clover, Beyblade burst, Servamp and Blood Lad.
The American voice actor John Omohundro provided the voice for the character. Some of his projects include Bravest Warriors, Adventure Time, Super Crooks.
Tetta Kisaki
Tetta Kisaki is the main antagonist of Japanese anime series Tokyo Revengers. He kills Hina Tachibana in different future events. He felts Mikey was strong and able to become top person to create crime in Japan. And he can use him as he wants.
The Japanese actor, voice actor and singer Shōtaro Morikubo played the character Tetta Kisaki for providing Japanese voice. The American voice actor, Nicolas Roye provided the voice for the character. Some of his projects includes Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Bungo Stray Dogs and Baki Hanma.
Takuya Yamamoto
Yamamoto is a member of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He share a good friendhship with Takemichi as middle-school friends. Later, he joined the gang like Takemichi.
The Japanese voice actor, Yūya Hirose protracted the the character Takuya Yamamoto for in Japanese version. Currently, the talent management company, Arts Vision manages his works. As of now, he has been part of anime like Horimiya, Epic Seven, Tokyo Ghoul: re , Darwin’s Game and Skate-Leading Stars.
Heading towards the English dubbed version, Will Choi voiced the character.
Keisuke Baji
Keisuke Baji is one of the founding members of Tokyo Manji Gang in Japanese anime series Tokyo Revengers. He was even the first division captain of Tokyo Manji Gang. He shares a special friendship bond with each and every member of the gang.
The Japanese voice actor Masaaki Mizunaka played the character Keisuke Baji. Also, he voiced in How Not To Summon A Demon Lord, Rascals Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai and How a Realist Hero Rebuilt a Kingdom

Takashi Mitsuya
Takashi Mitsuya is also one of the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He is even captain of second division of the gang. Furthermore, he is also brother of Luna and Mana Mitsuya.
The Japanese voice actor Matsuoka Yoshitsugu played the character Takashi Mitsuya. Yoshitsugu holds the Guinness World Record for the largest number of lines performed by a single voice actor in a mobile game.”
The American voice actor Grant George provided the voice. Some of his projects includes Fate/Zero, Bleach, Final Fantasy and Durarara!!. He has even voiced Scott Lang in several movies of the Marvel animated series.
Chifuyu Matsuno
Chifuyu Matsuno is also a supporting character of the anime . He happens to be the vice- captain of first division of Tokyo Manji Gang. He is a good friend of Keisuke Baji.
The Japanese voice actor Shō Karino played the character Chifuyu Matsuno for providing Japanese voice. Besides that, he also voiced in World War Blue and Lost Judgement.
