Jujutsu Kaisen is an adventure, dark fantasy, supernatural Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. The manga was first serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump in March 2018. As of December 2021, only 18 tankōbon volumes of the manga were represented in anime.
Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on October 3, 2020. Sunghoo Park directed the anime. For the anime, he also received a nomination at the 5th Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
The anime is animated under studio MAPPA. Currently, the anime has released the first season with 24 episodes.

Main Plot
The main plot of anime is based on the young kind teenage boy who joins his school club for fun but finds that its members are sorcerers, sorcerers are people who have magical powers. He learns that the cursed beings are after the demon Sukuna’s finger.
While saving his friends from cursed beings he eats the Sukuna’s finger and becomes the Sukuna’s host. He comes to know that he has magical power and the ability to control it without interference with Sukuna. He joins the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College to consume all of the Sukuna’s finger which only make him free as it enables full exorcism of Sukuna.
Characters
Yuji Itadori
Yuji Itadori is the main protagonist of the Japanese manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. He was a kind-hearted and normal boy until he eats Sukuna’s finger. He joins Tokyo Jujutsu High as a first-year student. Currently, he happens to be a host for the demon Sukuna.
The Japanese voice actor Junya Enoki played the character Yuji Itadori for providing a Japanese voice. He is also affiliated with Atomic Monkey. Some of his projects include Fly Me to the Moon, Beyblade Burst, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Moving towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actor and martial artist Adam McArthur provided the voice. Also, he has voiced in Tokyo Revengers and Sings a Bit of Harmony.
Megumi Fushiguro
Megumi Fushiguro is the secondary main character of the Jujutsu Kaisen, Japanese manga series. He is also a first-year student in Tokyo Jujutsu High with Yuji Itadori. They both worked together as well in their first mission. Moreover, he is a descendant of the Zenin family.
Japanese voice for this character is contributed by Japanese voice actor Yuma Uchida. He has even voiced in anime such as Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, and Fruits Basket
Also, for the English voice, American voice actor Robbie Daymond has provided the voice. He is also known for his roles in animation and video games. Even more, he has provided an English voice for Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia.
Satoru Goju
Satoru Gojo is a powerful character in Jujutsu Kaisen. Gojo is blindfolded as the use of his eye makes him tired quickly. He is even a teacher at Jujutsu High. He seems to be tall and handsome which attracted many people. Satoru is a special-grade sorcerer.
The Japanese voice actor Yuichi Nakamura played the character Satoru Gojo. Currently, he is with the agency, INTENTION. He has also provided his voice for Guilty Crown, One Punch Man, and Clannad.
Heading towards the English dubbed version, the Chinese voice actor Kaiji Tang has provided the voice.
Toge Inumaki
Toge Inumaki is the supporting character. He has a very rare and powerful technique called powerful curse speech. He is a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High with Panda, Yuki, and Maki. Inumaki is also a descendant of the Inumaki family. He seems to wear a uniform that covers his mouth.
The Japanese actor and voice actor Kōki Uchiyama portrayed the character Toge Inumaki. In 2015, he received the Best Voice Actors at Anime Award Festival.
The American voice actor Xander Mobus has provided the English voice.
Ryomen Sukuna
Ryomen Sukuna aka Sukuna is the main anatagoist of the anime. As per the legend, 1000 years ago Sukuna was a human sorcerer. Other sorcerer put all their efforts to kill him and he becomes a cursed spirit. But his curse was too strong and his body was not fully destroyed. Therefore, his 20 undestroyed fingers were preserved in grave wax. Unfortunately, Yuji Itadori eats one of his fingers and Sukuna incarnated in him and possesses Sukuna’s fragmented power.
Japanese voice actor and singer Junichi Suwabe provided the voice for the character Sukuna. Also, he is affiliated with Haikyō.
For the English dubbed version, American voice actor Ray Chase provided the voice. Some of his projects include Demon Slayer, One Punch Man, and One Piece.
Nobara Kugisaki
Nobara Kugisaki is the tritagonist of the Japanese anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. Also, she is a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High. She is a pretty girl and a strong fighter. Nobara is a good friend of Saori, a girl who came from Tokyo to her village. The villagers let Saori and her family out of the village. So, to meet her friend Saori Nobara headed to Tokyo.
The Japanese voice actress Asami Seto played the character Nobora Kugisaki for providing a Japanese voice. Moreover, she is affiliated with StarCrew. She debuted from the anime named Wandering Son.

Panda
Panda is a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High. He seems like a real panda but talks and acts like a human. Panda was born with the corpse within. So, he can talk and seems like a human. He has also called Abrupt Mutated Corpse rather than a cursed corpse. Basically, a cursed corpse is a nonliving object that has a corpse within and gains self-control through it.
Japanese actor, Tomokazu Seki played the character Panda for providing a Japanese voice. Moreover, he is president of Atomic Monkey. He is even the chairman of theatres company Hero Hero Q.
Also, for the English voice, Matthew David Rudd has provided the voice. Some of his projects include Tower of God, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and Detective Conan.
Kento Nanami
Kento Nanami is the supporting character in the Japanese anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He was an old student of Tokyo Jujutsu High. After his graduation, he left Tokyo Jujutsu High for earning money as a salaryman. Later, after 4 years he returns to continue the work as a Jujutsu sorcerer.
Japanese voice actor, narrator, and film director Kenjiro Tsuda have portrayed the character Kento Nanami. Some of his projects include Attack On Titan, Gangsta, and My Hero Academia.
The American voice actor David Vincent has provided the English voice.
Aoi Todo
Aoi Todo is a third-year student of Kyoto Jujutsu High School. He is the grade 1 sorcerer of Kyoto Jujutsu High. He also becomes friends with Yuji Itadori as both of them like “ tall girls with big butts.. like Jennifer Lawrence.”
Japanese voice for this character is contributed by German-Japanese voice artist, Xander Mobus. One of his best and known projects is Takeshi Goda in the Doraemon series.

Mahito
Mahito is the primary antagonist of the Japanese anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is the cursed spirit. He has only one goal and that is to destroy humanity and replace humanity with cursed spirits. Mahito enjoys torturing human beings.
The Japanese voice actor Nobunaga Shimazaki provided the voice for Mahito. He won the best actor in supporting roles award at the 15th Seiyu Awards.

Jogo
Jogo is the antagonist of the Japanese anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a cursed spirit. He has a single eye in the center of his face.

Maki Zenin
Maki Zenin is the supporting character in the Japanese anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. She is a student of 2nd year at Tokyo Jujutsu High along with Inumaki, Panda, and Yuta. As she has a lack of curse energy, on her own she left the Zenin family. She works harder by herself without family support to become the finest sorcerer.
