A Couple of Cuckoos

A Couple of Cuckoos is a romantic comedy and harem Japanese anime and manga series. The manga is written and Illustrated by the Manga Artist, Miki Yoshikawa. Also, the manga was first serialized on January 29, 2020, in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine. As of now, the manga has 13 volumes.

Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on April 24, 2022, on Network, TV Asahi. The anime is directed by the director Hiroaki Akagi and Yoshiyuki Shirahata. Coming up to now, the anime has 12 lists of episodes.

Main Plot

The main plot of the anime follows two students and both have high followers on social media. The students are Nagi and Erika. The high social media status also was a reason that linked them together. But, one day they found that they both were swapped when they were born.

So, their family plans to swap them again with their respective family. Well, as they both got attached to their family, they don’t want to do as they plan. They both canceled the plan. Whereas, it is too complicated for their relationship because of these happenings.

Nagi Umino

Nagi Umino is the main protagonist of the Japanese anime series A Couple of Cuckoos. Also, he is a very young boy who is in his second year in high school. As well, the name of his high school is Megurogawa Academy. Even more, he is very good at studies too which made his grade fall to the second rank.

In reality, he was the son of a hotel tycoon but mistakenly got swapped with another family. As a result, another family raised him. In addition, he studies very hard every time. Further, he is not only good in studies, he can handle other works of the house like cooking, cleaning also.

Erika Amano

Erika Amano is a female protagonist of the Japanese anime and manga series A Couple of Cuckoos. Additionally, she has a lot of followers on Instagram. Also, it has made her social media celebrity. Even more, she got swapped gotgogalong with Nagi. Therefore, her biological parents are those parents who raised Nagi. Moving on, she met Nagi at the park while she was recording the video.

As a result, it leads her toward China. Due to it, they have some barriers to their friendship. Additionally, while living there she grows some feelings in her mind to marry Nagi. Moving on, it is the reason she came to Japan now. Even more, she is so fond of him. So, she has pictures of him all over her room too.

Asami Segawa

Asami Segawa belongs to the Segawa Family. Also, Hiro is her daughter. Further, she is also polite and friendly. But, she has this kind of behavior only towards the female.
