Deep Insanity: The Lost Child

Deep Insanity: The Lost Child is an action and sci-fi Japanese anime and manga series. The manga was illustrated by the Manga Artist, Etorouji Shiono and written by Norimitsu Kaihō and Makoto Fukami. Also, the manga is named Deep Insanity: Nirvana. On January 24, 2020, the manga was first serialized in Monthly Big Gangan.
Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on October 13, 2021, on the network, Tokyo MX. The anime is directed by the director Shin Oonuma and written by Shouta Komatsu.
Deep Insanity: The Lost Child- Main Plot
The main plot of the anime is based on a new illness named Randolph Syndrome. Most of the people are already suffering from the illness. The illness comes from deep under the South Pole called Asylum. Also, the people need to discover the island to find the cure for the disease.
The anime follows a boy who is not affected by the illness. The boy is a trader who travels toward the Asylum. The story of anime is based on Manga as well as a video game. Where the character name Shigure Daniel joins the group named Sleepers to explore Asylum. The Sleepers exist as humans as well as monsters. Also, some of them have suffered from Randolph Syndrome.

1. Shigure Daniel Kai

Shigure Daniel Kai is a new member of Sleepe. Also, he wants to become a hero. He was assigned to go to Antarctica. To explore there and find the antidote to Randolph Syndrome.
The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actor and singer Hiro Shimono. Hiro is affiliated with I’m Enterprise. Some of his projects include The World God Only Knows, Ace of Diamond, and Black Clover.
Moving towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actor, Lee George provided the voice.
2. Vera Rustamova

Vera Rustamova is the commander of Antarctica Front Platoon 11. Moreover, he seems to hold a huge scythe as a weapon. With her ability, she can repeat the time.
The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese voice actress and singer Ami Koshimizu.
Heading towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actress Erica Schroeder provided the voice.
3. Leslie Blanc

Leslie Blanc is the Executive Officer of Platoon 11. As in the field, he is the leader. Among the members of the team, he is the most experience Sleeper. Even more, he is very good at using the sword. Formally, he often dresses like a woman. Furthermore, he likes Hayden but Hayden was killed during a mission that failed in the Abyss
The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actor Toriumi Kousuke.
The English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actor Grelle Josh.
4. Lawrence Larry Jackson

Lawrence Larry Jackson is also a member of Platoon 11 for Sleeper. Because of an accident he has lost his right arm and injury in his brain. Due to the injury in the brain, he has a lack of fair and pain.
The Japanese voice for the character is played by the Japanese voice Yūya Horise. Yūya is affiliated with Arts Vision.
Whereas, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actor and ADR scripter Josh Grelle.
5. Reika Kobato

Reika Kobato is also a member of Platoon 11. She also lost her right leg and has a prosthetic one. Moreover, she is an artist who loves manga and anime.
The Japanese voice for the character is voiced by the Japanese voice actor Ruriko Noguchi
Also, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actress Morgan Lauré.
6. Sumire Motiki

Sumire Motiki is also a member of Platoon 11, who works as a Sanity Anchor. The former pop idol was also exploited and embarrassed about her.
The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actress Kaede Hondo. Kaede is affiliated with I’m Enterprise.

7. Hayden

Hayden is a person who works in an organization without any motives. Furthermore, he used to wear glasses. Additionally, he use to have a severe haircut and the glasses he wears are dark pointed tip.
8. Nadia

Nadia is a young girl and wears a small flower clip on her head. As well as she works for Hayden. Even more, she used to carry a backpack, where she has two animals like a rabbit. The animal’s names are Kamezou and Usazou.
9. EL- Cee(Elsie)

Elsie is a young girl who is exiled and is living in an oasis area of Asylum. Furthermore, she was taken as the Child of God. As she has the power to end the world she is chased by the many people in Antarctica for their own purposes.
The Japanese voice for the character is played by the Japanese voice actress Takako Tanaka. Takako currently works for Mausu Promotion. Some of her projects include Welcome to the Ball Room, Pop Team Epic, and Konohana Kitan.

The most fun part of the anime is that it is a package of both action and adventure. The world of Asylum seems to be very mysterious. The characters seem to be entering the seep of the underworld without getting caught. Also, the anime is the plus point for those who are gamers of the game related to this anime. As well as the anime character named Vera who can time travel has made the anime more interesting to watch. The four members of Sleeper having a party together and chit chat of them adds more fun to the anime. This anime with both action and adventure would not be forgotten.

Episode 1
Shigure Daniel is the main protagonist in the series. Moreover, he is a member of Sleeper. The member of Sleeper is compared to the heroes. Lots of were shown in episode 1 of the anime. The first episode shows the Sleepers traveling towards the Atlantica. Even more in the first episode, we don’t know about their mission. But sure in the end Shigure is going to be a hero. Furthermore, the episode includes the name of the virus.
This first episode does nearly everything in its power to make viewers who saw the promotional trailer dislike it. Rather than building to a surprise, the episode begins with a group of armed soldiers discovering a fallen comrade who instantly transforms into a horrible monster.
Because of the graphics here and murders one of them in a spray of blood as a severed head flies. Except that we then transition into a basic look at a world struck by an illness. You can have a kind of overlook Deep Insanity’s less than the thrilling opening act, despite their clear efforts to start with some kind of a bang.We also follow two characters, as they stroll down the street. They were having a talk about a variety of subjects that is both exposition and commentary. We don’t know who these two are, there’s little in the scenario that makes us care. This is an introduction to a universe that could have been hitting viewers if presented in a different way.
