Saiyuki Reload: Zeroin

Saiyuki reload: Zeroin is an adventure and supernatural Japanese manga and anime series. The manga is written and illustrated by the Manga Artist, Kazuya Minekura. Also, the manga was serialized on February 18 in G-Fantasy.

Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on January 6, 2022, on the Network, Tokyo MX. The anime is directed by the director Misato Takada and written by Michiko Yokote along with Aya Matsui.

Saiyuki Reload: Zeroin- Main Plot

The story of the anime follows four heroes whose behavior is like punk. The four heroes are the monk Genjyo Sanzo, the monkey king Son Goku, the half-demon Sha Gojyo, and the hero who turned himself into the demon, Cho Hakkai. Furthermore, in the kingdom of Togenkyo, people started to live in peace. But the peace started when the monster whose name is Gyumaoh got killed. The monster got killed by a god whose name is Nataku Taishi. The act of destroying the monster affect the world for hundreds of years.

Youkai has reaches the point of insanity. As a result, negative force takes place as an act of reviving. As well, Kanzeon Bosatsu dispatches four heroes. The four heroes are mentioned above. Also, he dispatches them in order to save humanity. And stop the Gyumaoh from getting revived again into the biggest monster.

1. Genjyo Sanzo

• Age: 25 Years
• Height: 176.5 cm

Genjyo Sanzo is living as a follower of Buddha and is a priest. In addition, the one to bring all three heroes together is him. Additionally, he took the group in order to travel towards the west. Moreover, he doesn’t like to talk to everyone. As well, he often keeps silent. Even more, he acts as the guardian of Son Goku and is responsible for his development of him. Though he does not like children and animals, he feels quite good when he is around Goku and Hakuryuu. Furthermore, he thinks that fighting without a reason is useless and does not involve in fights without any reason.

2. Son Goku

Son Goku is one of a monkey kind who is also known as Nyoi-Bo. Moreover, he teams up with the other three journeys and joins their journey. As well, he also possesses power within him his name is Seiten Taisei. Moreover, he seems very happy person and makes others smile too. Though he is one of the heroes, he only thinks about the food. In addition, he is also only of the monkey king in the myths of Japan and China. Moving on, he is very friendly with people and often makes friends when he travels around.

3. Sha Gojyo

Sha Gojyo is a breed of both youkai and a human. While fighting he uses Shakujo. In addition, Shakujo is a metal-like weapon that people use for combat. Also, because being a breed of both and youkai, he often gets some bad impacts. Additionally, most people call him a problem and taboo. Which leads him to hurt and go through the pain. Besides the people talking, he is one of the smartest members of the group. Moreover, he often gets involved with Son Goku and they often brawl into fights. As they both are very childish in nature. Moving on, they both get silent only when Cho Hakkai gets angry.

The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese actor, voice actor, and narrator Hiroaki Hirata.

Whereas, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actor Ian Sinclair.

4. Cho Hakkai

Cho Hakkai is a very good, kind, and polite member of the group. Among the group member, he does all the work that feminine does. Moreover, his work often includes cooking, cleaning things up, and solving arguments. Besides it, his main role in the team is to work as a healer. 5. Konzen Douji

Konzen Douji is a God who lives in heaven. Also, he often works as paging the document. Even more, this kind of work often makes him bored. Furthermore, previously he got reincarnated in the world as Goku Konzen. As well, he remains bored in heaven until he meets Seiten Taisei. In addition, Kanzeon was the one to bring the child and even gave Konzen its responsibility. While growing the child up he felt very difficult. Later, he learns how to manage things and even got attracted to a child. Moving on, he provides the child a name, Goku.

6. General Kenren

Besides, drinking he also likes flowers and is often attracted to the woman. Furthermore, he likes disorders and does not involve in things that are boring. Also, he says the things that come to his mind without knowing the result. Even if the thing he is saying is insulting himself.

7. Kougaiji

Kougaiji is the prince among the youkai. Also, he lives in a castle that lies in India. Moreover, to revive his father he provided some assistance to Lady Gyokumen Koushu. As well, he is very loyal to people and he treats people very right. To their friends, he is very loyal. Even more, he worries about and protects his little sister Lirin. Moving on, he is a good leader as he knows everything about his subordinates. And, does not demand them to work very hard for him. Though, his good attitude sometimes turns into the devil to approach the goal he wants.

8. Dr. Ni Jianyi

Dr. Ni Jianyi is one of the antagonists of the series. In addition, he is providing assistance in reviving Gyokumen Koushu. Because of his haircut, he looks evil. Furthermore, like a kid, he wears bunny slippers and even talks to the toys that he has. Moving on, he is also a great scientist who loves to play a game with people like chess.
