Fairy Gone

Fairy Gone is action and dark fantasy Japanese manga and anime series. The manga is written and illustrated by the Japanese Manga Artist, Ryōsuke Fuji. On April 9, 2019, the manga was first serialized in Bessastsu Shōnen Magazine.
Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on April 7 2019 on the network, Tokyo MX. The anime is directed by the director Kenichi Suzuki and written by Ao Jūmonji.

Fairy Gone- Main Plot

Once upon a time, fairies were only used in fighting and bloodshed. Following it, the story starts in a world where fairies used to live. The fairies live along with the animals as they get mysterious abilities from them. Even more, various organs of the animals can also work in the body of fairies converting them into the deadliest weapon. Such fairies having weapons are known as Fairies Soldiers. Among them, they have their own purpose and perspective of living. Some have become mafia and some are working with the government.

Moving on, after nine years the protagonist of the series Mariya gets along with an organization that finds out and catches the fairies who are involved in crimes. The organization’s name is Dorothea. As the past conflicts come is arise terrorism increases as an act of revenge. The plot of anime keeps on moving with the fight between Fairy Soldiers and such revenge seekers.

Fairy Gone- Characters

1. Mariya Noel

Mariya Noel is a new member of the organization whose name is Dorthea. The organization captures the fairies who got involved in illegal activities. Moreover, she is one of the unique fairies who got weapons without doing an organ transplant. In addition, her village got burnt. Among the villagers, she and her friend Veronica only survived. But her friend left her, which made her involved in the activity of finding her. As well, she is very sweet and innocent towards the people. Later she finds her friend Veronica at the auction which got attacked by some intruder.

The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actress Kana Ichinose. Some of her projects include Darling in the Franxx, Dr. Stone, and Weathering With You.

Moving towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actress Jill Harris provided the voice.

2. Free Underbar

Free Underbar is also a member of the organization name Dorthea. Additionally, he controls the Illegal Fairy Regulatory group. Also, owns Unit 1, as he is a Deputy Captain. While on the work or beside the work, he is a very serious person. Moreover, he does not involve in nonsense things. Although, he is a good boy from outward once you got existed with him. At the auction, he first meets up with Mariya Noel. At that time he was working along with Gui Carlin as his undercover. When he gets the message that the intruder has attacked the auction. Then, Free goes to fight with those intruders.

The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese voice actor Tomoaki Maeno. In this anime world, he is known for providing a voice for anime like Black Butler, Gangsta, and God Eater.

Heading towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actor and voice director Ian Sinclair provided the voice.

3. Ash Clad

Ash Clad is a fairy who is working under Mariya Noel. Furthermore, Ash Clad has a physical body like the woman and often wears a white mask. Moreover, her body seems made of wood which instantly glows orange color when she activates her ability.

In addition, she has the power of fire. Likewise, from the fire, she generates a large amount of heat that executes from her hand. Even more, the heat is very dangerous because the thing she touches turns into ash.

4. Veronica Thorn

Veronica Thorn is childhood mate of Mariya. As well, Mariya survived from her village. When she knows that it was done by Ray Dawn, she bears an act of strong revenge against him. Even more, she worked hard and got strong in various combat abilities, turning her into mercy less assassination. Likewise, Mariya also possesses weapons and control fairies without doing the organ transplant. Moreover, she was a very kind and sweet girl. But the Incident in her village completely changed her. As of now, she is a very cold person. And does not show any reaction, even after meeting her childhood friend after a long period of time.

The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese voice actress Ayaka Fukuhara.

5. Nein Auler

Nein Auler is also a member of the organization, Dorthea. Furthermore, she also controls the Illegal Fairy Regulatory Agency at Dorothea. Additionally, she is also known as the witch of the seven Knights. Because she is only the female present in that group. When she read the report she gets from the Free underbar, she finds out that Mariya Noel is the cause of it. For which she starts the investigation and is going to present it to the authorities.

The Japanese voice for the character is played by the Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer Mie Sonozaki. Some of her projects include Burst Angel, One Piece, and My Hero Academia.

Also, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actress, ADR director, line producer, and writer Colleen Clinkenbeard.

6. Wolfran Row

Wolfran Row is an old member of the Fairy Soldier. Also, he helps Free in various wars. When he finds out that the war is taking the lives of many innocent children and women, he turned towards terrorism. The main reason was among that wife and children, his wife and children also got killed. Then, he teams up with the mafia group whose name is Arcame. He bears different mood swings. But he doesn’t want to tell the world that his wife and child got died in the war. Moving on, he also meets the person who brings the fairies that humans had made. Later, he moves to fight with Mariya in order to take the fairy organ that Maria had.

The Japanese voice for the character is provided by a Japanese voice actor and narrator Yoshimasa Hosaya.

Moving towards the English dubbed version the American voice actor David Matranga provided the voice.

6. Chima

Chima is a Czeschka maticarna type of animal that was going to be sold in an auction. Also, Chima manages to escape from the auction along with Mariya Noel. Because Chima got liked by Mariya, Mariya took Chima along with her. Marco Bellwood well recognize the animal Chima and even told Mariya about its species and especially what kind of animal it is. Though, it has a long and difficult name so Mariya decided to call it Chima. Moreover, it is not an ordinary pet as it possesses the ability to recognize fairies with the help of smell.

The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actress Aoi Koga.

Heading towards the English dubbed version, the American voice Bryn Apprill provided the voice.

7. Glyph Mercer

Glyph Mercer works as the right hand of Marco Bellwood. He looks towards the artificial fairies and watches out if they do wrong work or not. When the fairies got found doing wrong or Illegal activities they are reported to him to find out the reason behind it. Also, he is doing work according to his plan to find out the Black Fairy Tomes. As well, he is the one who woke up the Divine Beast. In order to wake the Divine Beast, he fused Ray’s fairy organ to the fusion fairy.

The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese actor, voice actor, narrator, and film director Kenjiro Tsuda. Some of his projects include Gangsta, Tiger & Bunny, and Boruto.

Whereas, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actor Christopher Wehkamp.

8. Klara Kysenaria

Klara Kysenaria is also a part of the 1st Unit at Illegal Fairy Regulatory Agency Dorthea. With the help of her fairy, she easily found Maria and Free. But when she met up with them she told them to be quiet. Because she does not want to be distracted from her mission. Later she aligned with Maria. After knowing about all the black story she along with Maria chase the man at the train. As well, they captured the man too.

The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese voice actress Ayaka Suwa. In this anime world, she is known for providing a voice for anime like Trinity Seven, Riddle Story of Devil, and Nier: Automata.

Also, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actress, director, and producer Apphia Yu.

For the anime fans, it is good news as the anime is available on both Hulu as well as Funimation. The anime is also available on Netflix but for the respective country only. So, if you want to binge the anime from Netflix. But it is not available in your country, Hulu and Funimation can be a good choice.
