Endride

Endride is an adventure and isekai Japanese game and anime series. The game Enride was released on November 24, 2016. As well, the game is also available on smartphones with the name Endride: X Fragments. Also, the game contains the same character design as Kazushi Hagiwara and Nobuhiro Watsuki.

Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on April 3, 2016, in the English Network, Aniplus Asia. The anime is directed by the director Keiji Gotoh and written by Touko

Endride- Main Plot

The plot of the anime follows a 15 years old boy, Shun Asanaga is reading at Junior High School. As well, he is very bright and has a lot of knowledge. Moreover, his father was a big businessman. One day he found a crystal while he was roaming at his father’s office. Also, he travels to another world when he touched the crystal lying at his father’s office. Another world he traveled to was the kingdom of Endra.

When he arrived in the kingdom, the prince of kingdom Emilio was at his 16th birthday. Though being a young boy, he cannot get the throne. As a result, Delzain gets the throne. Moreover, he cannot fight against him too as he is weak. As a result, Delzain captures him and put him in jail. At which Shun appears. Shun has two goals there, one is how to get out from that world to his own world. And another is to help Emilio on getting his throne back. The anime moves as the boys start to fight with their respective motives

Characters Of Endride

1. Shun Asanaga Of Endride

Shun Asanaga is a young boy who is reading at Middle High School. Furthermore, he travels to another world after touching the crystal laying at his father’s office. Moving on, in the new world, he has two motives, one to help the prince of the kingdom where he got transferred and to return to his own world. In another world, he also uses a weapon called Asanaga-Kun. In addition, it is a very powerful weapon.

The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actor and singer Kensho Ono. Some of his projects include Seraph of the End, Ace Of Diamond, and Charlotte.

Moving towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actor, ADR director, and scriptwriter Aaron Dismuke provided the voice.

2. Emilio Ranguhaimu Of Endride

Emilio Ranguhaimu is a young boy who has just turned 16. For taking the throne away his father got killed. That made him seek revenge. As he has low power and energy, Deruzain is easily captured and put in jail. Suddenly, the walls of the jail change their position and Shun appears. Furthermore, Emilio initially views Shun as the one who can help him. Which leads him to become a good friend with Shun. Though they are frequently at odds with one another. Moreover, he also has a weapon called Katakaragu.

The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer Toshiki Masuda. In this anime world, he is known for providing a voice for anime like One-Punch Man, My Hero Academia, and Beyblade Burst God.

Heading towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actor and voice director Ian Sinclair provided the voice.

3. King Delzaine

King Delzaine is the new king of Endra. As well, he gets the position of King after his brother died. Delzaine frequently collaborated with his brother. One day, a guy name Asanga appears and starts to provide hints for his brother. Other people among Delzaine do not believe in him. As well as he also has a kid named Shun. Later, his kid got taken away from him.

The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese actor, narrator, and voice actor Akio Ōtsuka.

Whereas, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actor Phil Parsons.

4. Kanzunobu Asanaga

Kanzunobu Asanaga is the only man who finds a route to Endora. After reaching there, he was able to involve with everyone and gain their trust. Moving on, he kidnaps Shun and takes him away from his father. Later on, he got bonded with Shun and cant kill him. But instead of killing Shun, he requests Shun to kill him. In order to gain the trust of the king and people, he shares every knowledge he has. As well, he and his wife, on the other hand, grew connected to Shun. Which was the reason he was not able to kill Shun.

The Japanese voice for the character is played by the Japanese actor and voice actor Satoshi Mikami.

Also, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actor, ADR director, and writer Chuck Huber.

5. Eljuia

Eljuia is a part of a group called Ignaz. The people in the group Ignaz have lack offensive strategies but they can know what is about to happen in the future.

The capacity of Eljuia to see the future is uncontrollable and it causes him physical strain. Furthermore, he is very loyal and devoted towards his mate and group. Among the members of his organization, he loves spending time with the girl members. He is an extremely empathic guy who is aware of things and the people around him. Demitrio is one of his favorite and most attractive characters.

The Japanese voice for the character is voiced by the Japanese voice actor Kōsuke Toriumi. Some of his projects include Naruto, Bleach, and Broken Blade.

The English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actor, ADR director, ADR engineer, and line producer Tyler Walker.

6. Alicia

Alicia is a childhood friend of the prince, Emilio. At the castle, she often got chased by the maids. At the time, Emilio helps her to hide from the maids and does not let her be found.

Additionally, she also got involved in the adventure that Shun and Emilio were having. Later, she found out that they both had already begun their journey without involving her which made her very sad. Also, she tries to find the solution to the fights between Shun and Emilio. But her work was not done by both of them. That turns her into anger. In addition, she also feels very worried about Emilio as he wants to revenge on the person for his father.

The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese actress and voice actress Karen Miyama. In this anime world, she is known for providing a voice for anime like Aikatsu Friends!, Insect Land, and Haikyuu.

Moving towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actress Sarah Wiedenheft provided the voice.

7. Louise

Louise is a strong fighter who always carries a strong weapon. As well, she is both human and Zoozian. Shun mistook her for a human until she told him that she was both.

She is half Zoozian and human as her mother was a human whereas her father was a Zoozian. Being a Zoozian her father was forced to work. Along with her father, her mother was also forced to work as she became zoozian after marrying a zoozian. Louise’s existence was also made easier among other Zoozian as she looks very similar to a human rather than that of zoozian.

The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese voice actress and singer Shizuka Ito.

Heading towards the English dubbed version, the American actress and voice actress Janelle Lutz provided the voice.

8. Falarion

Falarion is a dragon. Also, she happens to be a pet of Alicia. Despite being a dragon, it can understand the human language very well. Moving on, the series shows that Falarion is the result of Alicia father fussing warp relic. Even more, it can grow into a larger size than itself. Also, even changing its size, it looks like of actual size. Moreover, it also has ears that look like the ear of a bunny.

The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese voice actress, Ayaki Ohasi. Ohasi is also a singer by profession. In this anime world, she is popular for providing a voice for anime like Haikyuu, Magical Girl Ore, and Princess Principal.

Whereas, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actress and ADR director Felecia Angelle.

Why Watch Endride?

The anime is good to watch because it contains several twists. As well, the character development of the anime is good too. Also, the relationship between Shun and Emilio will attract you to the anime. Following them, the plot flows in a good direction. Though the side characters are not good. Later on, some of them are likable.

I think the anime is good if the start was made better. Furthermore, the anime is worth watching as the character goes from one world to another. And it’s really curious to see, can he return to the original world or not.
