Who is Toji Fushiguro of Jujutsu Kaisen?

Toji Fushiguro is one of the characters in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Fushiguro is the father of Megumi Fushiguro. He was famously known as the person who kills sorcerers.

Toji is a non-curse user jujutsu sorcerer originally from the Zenin clan.

Appearance and Personality

Toji is very tall and he has a muscular body. The color of his eyes is green and he has black color of hair. He stands at the height of 6 feet and 2 inches (188 cm) and has a decent weight.

Most of the time while fighting, he seems wearing a t-shirt with baggy pants. Even more, his slippers are called martial arts slippers. When he was a member of the Zenin Clan, he uses to wear a dark color Haori.

Moving towards his personality, he is very confident in himself. When he first meets with Gojo, Gojo asks if they have met each other before. Whereas, Toji does not recall if he has whether met or not. While fighting he does not come to his head. Further, he thinks with a cool head and fights his opponent. Even more, he left his wife as the child was a child. Thus, he does not whether his child is a boy or a girl.

Background of Toji Fushiguro. Why did he choose the dark side?

Toji Fushiguro was born on the 31st of December in the Zenin Clan. Since his birth, he didn’t possess any sort of curse energy which was unbearable for his clan. Hence, nobody in the clan loves him since his childhood and they used to abuse him.

As Toji was from one of the most powerful clans in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, he had many family members. That includes his uncles; Naobito Zenin, the 26th head of the Zenin Family, and Ogi Zenin. Further, he also has a brother, Jinichi Zenin who is an elite unit of the Zenin Family.

Toji was starting to have a negative side as well as he was being in trauma. Thus, he left his Zenin family and wants to go against them. Then, he chooses to leave the Zenin clan and marries a girl, and gets her name Fushiguro. Later, he developed the habit of gambling, he left his wife as she has a child and does not even knows the gender of his child. He was even thinking to sell his child to the Zenin Family. Although, he was very powerful and easily fights against the sorcerer without using the curse.

Gojo was also realizing that Toji was starting to change himself. In addition, Gojo thought that he can be the problem after all. As Toji was one of the powerful ones from the Jujutsu Tech. but, he was different from the rest of the others. Therefore, he chooses to go up against all the jujutsu sorcerers.

Why Toji was called a Sorcerer Killer?

This title is very suitable for Toji. Further, it has a reason too. Toji was able to handle the battle between both Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. Even more, he also wins over both of them. The only person who was about to kill Gojo was him. But, it was not due to his power. Whereas, he has a very intelligent mind which he pulls up in fights.

If it comes to strength, he is unmatchable to other sorcerers. Additionally, when it comes to the point brain and the mindest he can be a monster among all jujutsu sorcerers. In addition, he was able to handle the fight without adequate strength he has become a threat to jujutsu sorcerers. Therefore, he was provided the title The Sorcerer Killer.

What is the relationship between Toji with Gojo?

Both, Toji and Gojo were at the Jujutsu Tech. Even more, when Toji was living with his family he moves to watch Gojo and inspect how powerful he is. Also, he goes to see Gojo as he desperately to know how he is. Further, Gojo was able to recognize him on their first meeting. But, they both have a bad relationship as Toji wants to kill all of the Jujutsu Sorcerers. At the second meet of them, Toji was there in order to kill Gojo. As well, he stabbed Gojo from backward.

Satoru Gojo vs Toji Fushiguro. Who is the winner?

Before their battle started, Gojo and his team were on Star Plasma Vessel Escort. Gojo was able to form and everyone praises him. Adding on, Gojo was very tired and closed the portal. But, Toji attacks Gojo unknowingly and stabs him from the backside. As he looks back, Gojo replies I have seen you somewhere. Whereas, Toji just ignores Gojo telling him he will not waste his energy on these minor things.

Satoru was able to push Toji back and as a counter, Suguru follows Toji with his giant hookworm curse. The curse of Suguru was about to swallow Toji. After it, Suguru goes to look after Gojo. Later, Toji uses his Katana and easily cuts the curse. Again, Satoru tries to go after him but Toji has good speed and reflexes. Then, Gojo knows that he is heading for Riko Amanai. At last, Toji is stabbed again in the right leg of Gojo which makes him fall down. As a result, Toji wins the battle between him and Satoru Gojo which appeared that Gojo was brutally murdered.

In another place, Suguru was taking Riko home where Master Tengen was also waiting. Toji appears there and shoots Riko in the head and she dies. Even more, Toji reveals that he has already killed Satoru Gojo unknown Gojo is still alive.

Following the incident, Toji killed Riko by shooting her head with his shotgun which led to the battle between Toji and Suguru Geto. Geto fought with his almight however, Toji knocked him down smashing his face.

Gojo Vs Toji: The Final Match; Toji’s Death

After the fight with Suguru, Gojo attacked Toji by surprise. By using a Reverse Cursed Technique for recovering from all the injuries from the previous battle. After that, he unleashed the Cursed Technique Reversal: Red which hit Toji really hard.

Toji being a part of the Zenin family, he had the idea to counter Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue and Cursed Technique Reversal: Red. As a result, Toji survived the attack. Finally, Gojo used Hollow Technique: Purple which is even a secret within the Gojo family. With no idea about the countering cursed technique, Toji lost the battle with his life.
