Super lover is a boy’s love and romantic comedy Japanese anime and manga series. The manga was first serialized on October 30, 2009, in the magazine, Emerald. Also, the anime is written and illustrated by Manga Artist, Miyuki Abe.
Moving towards the anime, the first season of the anime was aired on 6 April 2006 on the Network, Tokyo MX. The anime is directed by the director Shinji Ishihira. Similarly, the second season was aired in January 2017. As of now, fans are eagerly waiting for season 3 of the anime.

Superlover is one of the finest Japanese romance comedy series. Whereas, love appears between brothers. Which is the reason fans are waiting for its new season. Even more, everyone knows well about relationships and love. As well, the first and second season has shown us well romantic scenes with comedy scenes.
As of now, the creators of the anime have not provided the exact release date. Further, the anime still have left more content to show it is much possible for season 3 of the anime. Moreover, the anime was to release in 2021. But unfortunately, the anime is delayed for more than two or three years. When the exact date will be released we will try to notify soon as we can.
SUPERLOVER RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BROTHERS
The anime shows the relationship of two brothers. The plot of the anime contains two characters whose names are Haru Kaidou and Ren Kaidou. Haru used to live in Tokyo but flys to Canada. The reason he flies to Canada was he gets the message that his mother is sick.
But when he reached there he finds his mother well. In addition, it was one of his mother’s plans to call him to look after Ren. Ren was a boy who was adopted by his mother and he does not know that. Whereas, Ren was a boy who don’t want to involve with people rather he enjoys playing with dogs. However, Haru manages to talk with him and grows the relationship between him. Unfortunately, he had to fly back to Tokyo. Before going to Tokyo, he had promised Ren that in any situation he will live together with him.
Later on, Haru gets the news that his mother has died. The incident makes him lose all his memory. And even he forgets about the promise that he made with Ren before flying to Tokyo. After all When Ren goes to Tokyo as they promised to live together. Ren tells him that he is his brother. But it is up to him that will he take him as a brother or not.
IS SUPERLOVER ANIME WORTH WATCHING?
If you are a yaoi genre anime fan then you will love the series. But if you do not about this genre the anime will appear as a new theme for you. Moreover, the story is very good as it is about two stepbrothers. In addition, they develop feeling toward each other. Even more, the story revolves around humans and the mistake that humans often made. It is kinda similar to the world we live in.
Besides the plot and the story, the themes of the anime are very eye-catchy. As well, the characters are well-balanced. Even more, the art is different as it is not about a boy and girl love. But it is all about a boy falling for a boy. Altogether, Superlover is one of the best anime to binge on.
MAIN CHARACTERS AND THEIR VOICE ACTORS
1. Ren Kaidou
Ren Kaidou is the main character of the series. As well, he got adopted by Haru’s mother. Moreover, he is very shy in person and is an anti-social type. Rather than involving with people, he loves to play with dogs. In addition, he first meets Haru when Haru moves to Canada from Tokyo. While living together they develop a relationship between them. Additionally, the left side of his face seems like ut got burned from cigarettes. Besides it, he often tells the truth and does not know how to hide things. Moving on, the anime reveals that he was six years old when he was first adopted by the Kaidou family.
The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actress Junko Minagawa. Some of her projects include Duel Masters, The World of Nature, and Fantastic Children.
2. Haru Kaidou
Haru Kaidou is the member of Kaidou family. Also, while he was living in Japan he was unknown about Ren. Moreover, he comes to know about Ren when he goes to Canada as he gets messages that his mother is ill. As well, he is very smart and knows how to act on things. Even more, he really loves his brother and often seems to defend him. At a young age, his parents were separated. Later, his father gets married again. And here lives with his father along with his new mother. At first, he had known Ren as a pet, but when he goes there he finds it was his brother. Further, he was adopted by his mother.
The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese voice actor Tomoaki Maeno. In this anime world, he is known for providing a voice for anime like Naruto: Shippuden, White Album, and Ace of Diamond.
3. Natsuo Shiba
Natsuo Shiba is the supporting character in the series. As of now, he is working for the old job that Haru was doing. Further, he seems quite similar to Haru. Even more, he always has a rough and tough attitude towards people. And, he does not like to work. In addition, he always keeps his room dirty and the things in his room are messed up. Additionally, he just keeps the thing as it is rather than cleaning it to make a normal room. Moving on, one of the incidents makes Ren go mad. And that was when he kissed Haru in front of Ren. And, his father has taken some money from the Natsuo family as a debt. Also, he was living separately from the Natsuo family because his father ran away without paying the money.
The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese voice actor and singer Takuya Satō.
4. Aki Kaidou
Aki Kaidou is also a member of the Kaidou family and lives under the same roof with three brothers. As of now, he is reading college along with his twin brother, Shima. When he was thirteen years old his parents were died and gave the responsibility of him to the Haru family. Similarly, Ren also met with Aki. As Ren comes to Tokyo after the death of Haru’s mother. In addition, at first, he doesn’t want to accept Ren as his brother. Later, he insisted on Ren as his younger brother. Even more, he seems to have a lack manners. Moving on, Ren states that Aki often gets mad when he has a bad mood.
The Japanese voice for the character is played by the Japanese voice actor Yoshitsugu Matsuoka.

5. Shima Kaidou
Shima Kaidou is also living in the Kaidou family under the same roof. Also, he lives with his other three brothers. Even more, he is also reading at college along with his elder twin brother Aki. Additionally, he seems to be wearing spectacles. Further, he is very collected and acts very mature. Apart from this, he also observes the things that are happening around him. Especially, he does not grow up with Haru whereas he grew up with Aki. After completing college he moves to live with Haru. Importantly, he is the member who has noticed that their family was changing from the previous one. But he gladly accepts Ren as his brother.
The Japanese voice for the character is voiced by the Japanese voice actor and singer Takuma Terashima. Some of his projects include One Outs, Break Blade and Sacred Seven.
6. Haruko D. Dieckmann
Haruko D. Dieckmann is real mother of Haru. Also, she was one to adopt Ren. Even more, she is a fine novelist. Furthermore, she seems to live in Canada. As well, she is a fine person who is very dedicated to the work. Moreover, she wants live on her own. From her first husband, she gave birth to Haru. Later, their relationship goes well and she divorces her husband. When she was traveling in her car she finds Ren. Following it, she wants to know about Ren and starts to ask him questions. But, Ren does not have an idea about his past. The only thing he remembers was his name and age.
The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actress and narrator Atsuko Tanaka. In this anime world, she is known for providing a voice for anime like Black Jack, Cowboy Bepop, and Angel Links.
