Kagaya Ubuyashiki
Kagaya Ubuyashiki is one of the major supporting characters of the Japanese anime series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. He is the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps as well as the 95th of his family line. His main motive of him is to see Muzan Kibitsuji dead.
Even more, he usually loves his subordinate a lot and treats them like a family. Even more, he uses to visit the grave of the demon slayers who are dead.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki – Background
Kagaya family was living happily until they were cursed. The curse made every child weak and make their lifespan less than 30 years old. Whereas, some can leave very less amount of time or die instantly.
But, the girls from the clan can be saved if they marry a boy from another clan and get their surname as they become 13 years old. After they had cursed, his father committed suicide when he was 19 years old. His father cannot bear and see his child of him die one by one. Heading on, his siblings were also dead when he was just four years old. As a result, he was made head of the family.
Kagaya Ubuyashiki bloodline and curse
The family of Kagaya as well as Muzan follows the same birth tree. So, they have a connected bloodline with each other. Whereas due to the birth of monsters like Muzan, the Kagaya family line was cursed, and the people from his family were born with very low immunity.
Even more, Muzan’s health and illness are evidence of their curse. Anyway, he was able to make their gene pool a little stronger. To make it possible he follows the words of the priest and married the wife as the priest recommends. The curse of Kagaya keeps on growing. Due to it, he slowly becomes like a blind person. The wife of Kagaya Ubuyashiki is Amane Ubuyashiki. She gave birth to four daughters and one son who are quintuplets. Also, she has a maiden name which is Amane Himorogi. She first met Kagaya when she was 17 years old.
At that time, Kagaya was just 13 years old. Adding on, she was selected by the priest to marry the Demon Slayers’ leader, Kagaya Ubuyashiki. She was also married for medical needs too. Whereas, in return, Kaguya also demands one of his wishes. The wish was she needs to take care of him if only she wants from her inner self.

Hinaki Ubuyashiki
HInaki Ubuyashiki is the oldest daughter of Kagaya among his four daughters. She is very loyal to her father and stayed by his father’s side until he dies. Most of the time, she seems to be wearing Himōngi kimono with purple color of flowers.
Nichika Ubuyashi
Nichika Ubuyashiki is the second oldest daughter of Kagaya Ubuyashiki. Likewise, her older sister is very loyal to her father and even dies along with her twin sister when Muzan killed her father.
Kuina Ubuyashiki
The 3rd daughter of Kagaya Ubuyashikia is Kuina Ubuyashi. Kuina serves her brother Kiriya Ubuyashiki. She has a very good memory and she usually utilizes it in making maps. Also, she helped the demon slayer, her sister as well as her brother to make the route that headed toward Muzan Kibutsuji.
Kanata Ubuyashiki
Kanata Ubuyashiki is the youngest daughter of Kagaya. As of now, she use to serve her older brother Kiriya who is the leader of the demon slayer corps. Like her older sister, she also has a good power of memory and she aided Kuina in order make a route toward Muzan.

The son of Kagaya is Kiriya Ubuyashiki. He becomes the leader of the demon slayer corps after the death of his father. He is the 98th as well as the final leader of the demon slayer corps. After his final selection, he wears one that seems similar to the dress of his father. From his birth, his parents raised him like a girl. The reason to do so was he was very weak.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki is a person who was seeking the death of Muzan. So, to lure Muzan into his trap, he kills himself. He actually blows himself along with his wife and two daughters (Hinaki and Nichika). It actually takes the off-guard of Muzan. Though he was not able to see the death of Muzan, Muzan was dead and his sacrifice helped out a lot.
