Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is a romance comedy Japanese anime and manga series. The manga is written and illustrated by the Manga Artist, Asato Mizu. Also, the manga was first serialized on January 29, 2017, in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+.

Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on April 2, 2022, on Network MBS. The anime is directed by the director Yasutaka Yamamoto and written by Takao Yoshioka.

How Does The Plot Revolve Around Aharen and Raidou?

As the first year starts to take place, Matsuboshi Raidou wants to become a good friend to a very humble and tiny person in his class Reina Aharen, who used to sit next to him. Likewise, Raidou Reina also have the same interest but was not able to do so.

Moving on, while they keep on trying to become friends. They often fall for the small problem which seems to be bigger for them. Besides, anything that happens between them Raidou mostly wants to become friends with Reina. No matter what it takes to it. While becoming friends with each other the plot often follows them and has a good comedy at the high school.

Do Aharen and Raidou Fall For Each Other in Aharen-san wa Hakarenai?

The first thing they both desired was to become good friends with each other. Further, their friendship often seems like they both are in a relationship with each other. Whereas, they are also unaware of that. In addition, they only come to know as most of the time people ask Aharen if they are dating each other or not. Well as of now, it is not clear they fall for each other but their actions often show they are in relation. Moreover, we can expect it to appear later in the series.

Does Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Really Has Romance in It?

As above mentioned the anime falls under the genre of romantic comedy, it literally will have romance. The friendship of Aharen and Raidou seems quite similar to starting a romance. We can well know that it is going to have romance in upcoming episodes too. Additionally, the plot is also not about only focusing on romance. Because it contains the comedy and high school environment too. Besides, these two characters the character can also have romance in the series.

Main Characters And Their Cast

1. Reina Aharen

Reina Aharen is the main protagonist of the series. Further, she is a very small and cute girl who starts interested to become friends with Raidou. Even more, she has such a wish as she starts to talk with him. In addition, she is also a kind of insecure as she keeps on doubting herself and her choices. As she wants to become a good friend with Raidou, she feels very hard to ignore him. Additionally, she is also a good friend of Mitsuki Ōshiro as they were read at the same place during their middle-high school. Also, she bears a good ability of swimming. And she also feels very hard to talk with Raidou and she often acts like an emotionless person.

The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actress and singer Inori Minase. Some of her projects include The Case Study of Vanitas, Black Bullet, and Charlotte.

Moving towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actress Dani Chambers provided the voice.

2. Raidou Matsuboshi

Raidou Matsuboshi is a big guy with very short hair. Further, Raidou is very mature and calm. Also, he well looks after Reina very well and is ready to support her in any difficulties. Most of the time he does not involves in talking with classmates in his class. Even more, he is the one with that Reina wants to create a friendship. Moving on, they seem to be dating each other because of their friendship. As well, he often wears a very well-managed dress of a white shirt and a black tie.

The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese voice actor and singer Takuma Terashima. In this anime world, he is known for providing the voice for anime like Saint Beast, One Out, and Break Blade.

Heading towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actor Ben Balmaceda provided the voice.

3. Mitsuki Ōshiro

Mitsuki Ōshiro is a very good childhood friend of Reina as they both read in the same class during middle-high school. In addition, she keeps a blush on her face with a little fear and hesitation. The one different thing about her is she does not like boys. Because of this, she wants Reina to avoid Raidou. When she does bad things she often acts like a cry baby.

The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese actress and voice actress Mao Ichimichi.

Whereas, the English voice for the character is provided by the American voice actress and scriptwriter Kristen McGuire.

4. Ren Aharen

Ren Aharen is the younger brother of Reina and looks similar to Reina. Even more, he is a very childish boy and wants to become exactly like his sister Reina. For which he also wears the dress Reina sometimes.

The Japanese voice for the character is played by the Japanese actress and voice actress Misaki Kuno.

5. Imouto Raidou

Imouto Raidou is one of the supporting characters in the series. In the anime, she seems wearing a sailor uniform. Further, she is a very cute girl with brown eyes. Even more, she is the younger sister of Raidou Matsuboshi.

The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actress Nagae Rika. Some of her projects include Demon Slayer, Komi Can’t Communicate, and God Eater 3.

Moving towards the English dubbed version, the English voice for the character is provided by the American actress and voice actress Jalitza Delgado. In this anime world, she is known for providing a voice for anime like Horimiya, Fire Force, and Love After World Domination.
