Burning Kabaddi
Burning Kabaddi is a sport (kabaddi) Japanese anime and manga series. The manga is written and illustrated by the Manga Artist, Hajime Musashino. Also, the manga was first serialized in July 2015, on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app. Whereas, the anime was first aired on April 3, 2021, on Network, TV Tokyo. The anime is directed by the director Kazuya Ichikawa and written by Yūko Kakihara.
The plot of the anime follows a good soccer player, Tatsuya Yoigoshi. As well, he starts to develop hate for the various types of sports and wants to become a good live streamer. Moving on a kabaddi player, Souma Azemichi wants to take him on the team. So, he comes between the Tatsuya stream. Then, he goes to the court with him. Even more, he accepts to play on the team. The anime has many of the kabaddi battles that happen with bare hands.

1. Tatsuya Yoigoshi
Tatsuya Yoigoshi is tha protagonist of the series. Also, he is reading at Noukin High School. Previously, he was very fond of soccer but started to hate every sport. Moreover, he develops a new motive for becoming a live streamer. After getting an invite to the Kabaddi team. He has not thought that it would be interesting. Further, he decides to join the team after watching it. Even more, the different members playing different sports also invite him. Whereas he refuses everyone but agrees with the team of kabaddi. Also, he is a teenager with a rude attitude. In addition, he gets easily mad at most things. Though, he gets mad easily but
easily gets calm too.
The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actor and singer Yuma Uchida. Some of his projects include Jujutsu Kaisen, Boruto, and Fruits Basket. At the 13th Seiyuu Awards, he won the Best Male Lead Actor Award.
2. Masato Ohjo
Masato Ohjo is the director of the kabaddi department of the college which name is Noukin High School. Even more, he has mastered his physics and is well known all over Japan. As well, he turns into the beast when he is on mode while playing the game. For a long time, he has been playing kabaddi. For about 10 years he has been involved in kabaddi. While playing the game, he is seen wearing jersey no 1. Further, he seems to have catchy violet eyes. Altogether, having much knowledge about kabaddi, he is a top-level kabaddi player.
The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese voice actor and singer Nobuhiko Okamoto. In this anime world, he is known for providing a voice for anime like Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Sky Girls, and Bleach. At the 5th Seiyuu Awards, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award.
3. Kei Iura
Kei Iura is deputy director of the Kabaddi team of Noukin High School. Furthermore, he is very intelligent and develops thinking skills in the court of kabaddi too. Though through his physical appearance he looks like a gentleman his face is very threatening. Moreover, it’s only 6 years since he has started playing kabaddi. Also, he often wears glasses. While playing games he wears a jersey having the number 2. Especially, he is a person who can manipulate others in the things that he wants them to involve in. As well as, to reach the goal he wanted he takes any way whether it is long or it is short.
The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese voice actor Makoto Furukawa.
4. Kyohei Misumi
Kyohei Misumi is also a kabaddi player who plays for Noukin High School kabaddi club. In addition, he also is reading at Noukin High School and is in a second year. When he was in junior high he was not a very good player. And most of them he keeps involved in the fights. Additionally, when he enters high school he changes himself into a good person. It’s not been a long time since he has been part of kabaddi. As well, it’s only one year and one month he started to play kabaddi. While playing the game he wears jersey number is 3. As of now, he is a very good person but in the past, he was very rude.
The Japanese voice for the character is played by the Japanese voice actor and singer Tatsuhisa Suzuki.
5. Shinji Date
Shinji Date is also a kabaddi player at Noukin High School. Also, he is reading at Noukin High School in his second year. Further, in his past, he was a baseball player. And plays baseball from the position of pitcher. After having the injury while playing baseball he left to play baseball. Moreover, he has no idea about what to do when he reaches high school. Later, he gets an invitation from Misumi to play kabaddi for their team. Especially, his physical strength and body are his weapons for the kabaddi match. At the kabaddi games, he wears the jersey of a number of 4. As well, he is very frank and easily talks with various people.
The Japanese voice for the character is voiced by the Japanese voice actor and singer Shunsuke Takeuchi. Some of his projects include Akudama Drive, Mob Psycho 100, and The Rising Of the Shield Hero. At the 10th Seiyuu Awards, he won the Best Roomie Actor Award.
6. Ayumu Rokugen
Ayumu Rokugen is reading at Souwa High School. As well, he is reading there this year. The Souwa High School stands as one of the best colleges residing in the Kanto region. Further, he plays as a defensive player. And he is very intelligent with good physics. As a result, he is a very good technical player. Though he is a good player with Masato Ohjo on the field, he is a good rival of him. While playing kabaddi he often wears a jersey having number 1. Moving on, due to his great physics he seems like a monster.
The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actor and narrator Hiroki Yasumoto. In this anime world, he is known for providing a voice for anime like Bleach, Inuyasha, and School Rumble.
7. Ren Takaya
Ren Takaya is also a kabaddi player at Souwa High School. Moreover, he plays kabaddi from the position of the raider. His job is to make out the points for the team. As well, being a raider he is very fast and intelligent too. Further, he shows various quick attacks that let the rival team be shocked. At his junior high level, he has also won the national swimming championship. While playing the game he wears a jersey number of 3. Even more, his attacks speed is very fast related to other members of his team.

8. Shintaro Kizaki
Shintaro Kizaki is a kabaddi player at Souwa High School. As well, he is reading in his third year at Souwa High School. In addition, he has the aim of collecting different hair bands. And he uses those hair bands while he plays kabaddi. Though he is a junior, he loves to tease Takatani. While playing kabaddi he wears a jersey of number 4. Especially, he has very dark grey eyes.
The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese voice actor Taku Yashiro. At the 12th Seiyuu Awards, he won the Best Rookie Actor Award.
9. Manabu Sakura
Manabu Sakura is reading at Saitama Kouyou High School. Also, he is a kabaddi player at Saitama Kouyou High. Additionally, he was also a junior high along with Masato Ohjo and Kei Iura. Mentally, he keeps on changing and is kind of volatile. Further, he has a good benefit for the kabaddi game. As he has good physics and very good height. Altogether, he owns a very good talent. While playing kabaddi he wears jersey number 2. Even more, he thinks Ohjo is a good player and admires him a lot.
The Japanese voice for the character is played by the Japanese voice actor Natsuki Hanae. Some of his projects include Ace of Diamond, Noragami, and Gangsta.
10. Hiromoto Utou
Hiromoto Utou is also a kabaddi player at Saitama Kouyou High. As of now, he is in his second year at Saitama Kouyou High School. Further, on the High School team, he is a director. Moreover, he is a very strong person as he also bears good physical strength. Through his skills of kabaddi and strength, he is well known as a good player. While playing the game he wears jersey number 1. In addition, he seems like a mature boy having a good personality.
The Japanese voice for the character is voiced by the Japanese voice actor and singer Sōma Saitō. In this anime world, he is known for providing a voice for anime like Tokyo Ravens, Hand Shakers, and Skate-Leading Stars.
