The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World is a Japanese novel, manga, and anime series. The novel was released in December 2018. Also, the light novel was released on July 31, 2019. The light novel was illustrated by Shisho (Volume 1) and Kihiro Yuzuki (Volume 2- now). Whereas, it is written by Kiichi Kosuzu.

The manga was serialized on May 2020, online via Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website. Even more, the anime was first aired on January 7, 2023, on the original Network, Tokyo MX. As of now, the anime has 9 lists of episodes.

Main Plot

The main plot of the anime follows Haruyoshi who was betrayed by his friends. Due to this, he comes near the dying point. So, using his technique he attempts a secret reincarnation. Through, his technique he was sent to another world as a reincarnation.
In the new world, he is born into a family of magicians. But, he does not have enough power in this world. In his previous life, he was very powerful as an exorcist. Heading on, he says he does not need any magic and will survive in this world following his old techniques and abilities.

Main Characters

Haruyoshi Kugano

Haruyoshi Kugano is a very powerful exorcist. He was also called the very powerful person of all time. Even more, he does not seek anyone whereas he was very greedy to get power. Though he has greediness over power, he also has a gentle side towards orphans as well as Yuki. Heading on, as he was getting more power, it seemed like a dangerous thing. As a result, he was killed by his disciples in a conspiracy by the Imperial Court.

Seika Lamprogue

Seika Lamprogue is the main protagonist of the series. His father’s name is Gilbert Lamprogue. Actually, he is Haruyoshi Kugano who was a very strongest person in history. He was reincarnated as Seika through the secret technique called Curse of Reincarnation. As of now, he has no powers and abilities like in his previous life.

But, he still has knowledge and idea about his old ideas and techniques. So, he plans to live in this new world happily with his old knowledge and techniques without any power.

Yuki

Yuki is the one whom Seika was using before he reincarnated in the new world. Though, Seika does not care about anyone besides the powers. He actually loves Yuki a lot. Even more, Seika used to hide in the hair of Yuki in the form of Kangitsune. In addition, Yuki has long gray hair which is ponytailed. Whereas, the color of her eyes is dark grey.

Yifa

Yifa is the protagonist in The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World Series. Adding on, she has long gold hair with hazel eyes. Even more, she is also a slave of Seika Lamprogue. Even more, she seems to be blushing most of the time.

Adding on, she also goes with Seika in his Entrance Exam. As well, she also tells Seika as she feels sorry for her mistakes during the exams. She is also able to pull off mid-rank magic and she calls it Wind Lance. Also, Seika was also shocked by her power of her during the practical exam.

Amyu

Amyu is a young girl with the scarlet color of hair and green eyes. She goes to Dungeon Adventure along with Seika. Even more, she is very good at using the swords as in the dungeon adventure she easily sliced the monsters. As well, Seika was able to save during their dungeon. Later, she even says thanks to Seika.

She feels happy and amazed as they clear out their adventure with a good sync. Also, she hates it a lot when someone does not show respect to the elders. Adding on, she thinks that a guy needs alone time too.

Cecilio Astilia

Cecilio Astilia is the first prince of Astelia. He has light brown hair and green color of eyes. He even goes to meet with Seika. At that time he was able to see Efa, he falls over her beauty from his first meet. Adding on, he also requests her to join his country’s harem. But, she refuses telling that she is a slave.

Even more, he tells her that he will buy her a very high price. Later, Prince even pays to buy Efa but she denies it and told that she loves Seika.

Mabel Crane

Mabel Crane is a young girl with small auburn hair and with a cyan-grey color of eyes. She thinks Amyu is not chosen because she is weak. Later, this leads to a duel between them.

Though they were having a good fight, it comes to an end with Mabel winning it. Even more, Mabel was able to take the sword of Amyu to the ground. As a result, she has very good speed and swordsmanship. Heading on, in the tournament she duels with Seika. But, Seika wins over her with the referee’s decision.

Mizuchi

Mizuchi falls under the species known as Wyrm. Wyrms are very similar to that dragons. Also, Mizuchi has red color of eyes. It was first summoned Seika Lamprogue. But, it has its first appearance in the first episode of the series when Haruyoshi was above him.

Heading towards its appearance, it has multicolored hair. It is very large and very long. Whereas, its body is made up of two colors which are yellow and blue.

Know about the ending of The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World

At the start of the 9th episode of the series, Rize tells Efa that Seika is a monster. The reason she was telling is the elements were not getting near him. Likewise, the element can’t get to the demons. Whereas, Rize asks Efa if she knows about his mother or whether his mom can be a demon. While Efa believes that he is a human. Later, Efa gets free from Seika as prince all the amounts of her.

But, Efa does not want to become free. Also, all the paper works were ready but Seika comes with a dragon telling them that he has already done friendship with him. He even calls Efa to make the dragon eggs warm as she has fire magic. In return, she also accepts to go as she loves him.

The people from Zekt come after them with a lava tiger in order to take the egg. They even attacked Seika but Efa saves him. Heading on, they win over them and provide the egg to the prince for its safety. Efa also refuses the prince and wants to marry Seika. In the end, we get a chance to see a demon, Murdev killing a lot of people, Pyrslaria who can change the demon into stone, and Gull Ganis who is a demon using fire magic.

A new team and Elder Cyclops

At the end of the series, we saw different characters and demons clearing the field. After it, we get a chance to see a boy who tells a boy who was able to summon a huge demon. Later, the captain reveals its Elder Cyclops. Adding on, he easily killed it too. Everyone near him applauds him for good swordsmanship.

After it, they got near them and eat off the boy. Thus, in the meantime, Seika starts to feel something different. It concludes that we may be able to see season 2 of The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World. But, we might have to wait for a long period of time.

Is The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World worth watching?

The anime is one of the isekai which season 1 has been already finished with 9 episodes. The anime has already gained enough popularity among fans. Adding on, the anime also has a very different plotline as the main protagonist is reincarnated into the new world using his techniques but without the power, he has before. Even more, he increases his will to live without these powers. Along with the plotline, the character development of the anime is one of the masterpieces too. As a result, the anime is worth watching.
