The Detective Is Already Dead
The Detective Is Already Dead is a mystery, romantic comedy, and adventure Japanese anime, light novel, and manga series. In addition, the light novel was first serialized on November 25, 2019. Later, the manga was first serialized on May 27, 2020. It was illustrated by the manga artist Mugiko.
Moving towards the anime series, the anime was first aired on July 4, 2021, on the original network, Tokyo MX. Even more, the anime is directed by the director, Manabu Kurihara. There are 12 lists of anime episodes.
Main Plot
The main plot of the character is based on a boy whose name is Kimihiko Kimizuka. Though he is a boy, he has been involved in a lot of crimes. Also, he refers to himself as a magnet, which attracts a number of crimes and troubles. One day, a group of members comes in order to kidnap. Whereas, they were successful in doing it too.
After he was kidnapped, he met a girl with silver hair. The girl was none other than Siesta. As well, Siesta was able to help him out. Moving on, she tells him to join her. But he refuses to join her. Anyway, after some time, he accepted to join her in order to protect the planet from threats. Unfortunately, one day Seista dies, and Kimihiki tries hard to forget her. He was not able to do so, as her influence was still alive among the people.
Main Characters
Kimihiko Kimizuka
Kimihiko Kimizuka is the main protagonist of the series. He is a young boy who is just 18 years old. Though he is 18 years old, he seems to be engaging in lots of trouble. As well, he himself refers to himself as a magnet for those troubles. One day, a group of members kidnaps him, and at the same time, a girl, Siesta, saves him.
After that, he becomes an assistant to her. But things start to change when Siesta dies. It makes him live a simple life. Anyway, he lives like he did before, at the request of Nagisa. Even though he seems to be participating in fights, Siesta thinks that he is not appropriate for combat.
Siesta
Sieta is one of the heroines of the series. In addition, she is working as a detective, and she is very good at it. Even more, she was able to make Kimihiko her assistant. Heading on, Siesta is not her real name. Being a detective, she usually hides her real name. As a result, Siesta is just her code name.
To take part in the battle, she also equips a weapon, a muskeet gun. Along with it, she also has seven tools. As she takes the guns in the battle, her accuracy in using them is also good. Similarly, her physical power is also at a higher level than that of normal humans. She also loves protecting and caring for her clients.
Nagisa Natsunagi
Nagisa Natsunagi is also the heroine of the series. Likewise, Kimihiko is also a high school girl and is 18 years old. After the death of Siesta, she was the first to request Kimihiko as a detective. But Kimihiko did not want to do any work like that after the death of Siesta. Later, he accepts the request of Nagisa.
The main motive for Nagisa to take him as a detective was to find someone. As well, she has a habit of telling people to die twice. When she was a child, her heart and body were weak. So, she was not able to make friends and go out as a usual person. Thus, Siesta was the one to give her heart, and she had a heart transplant. As a result, she has inherited the Seven Tools, the musket gun of Siesta.
Hel
Hel is none other than the ego of Nagisa. The ego inside her was created after the death of Alicia six years ago. Even more, she is the highest-ranking officer of the SPES. SPES is the organization whose members are born from the seed. As well, she is also the leader of that organization.
The physical ability of Hel is so good that she can fight with others very easily. Along with it, she also has power in her eyes. The power in her eyes allows her to control the memories of the people. Later in the series, we can also see that Nagisa uses the same power while battling against Fubi Kase.
Charlotte Arisaka Anderson
Charlotte is also popular with her name, Charl. Even more, she is working as an assassin. Once, she was after Siesta to kill. But she was not able to do so, and she was defeated by Siesta. As a result, she starts calling her Ma’am. After losing against her, she starts to idiolize her a lot.
After the death of Siesta, she becomes a subordinate of Fubi Kase. As well, Siesta says that she has good skills but that they are not enough to meet her level. Moving on, she is just a 17-year-old girl. Most of the time, she seems to be wearing a dress top with a maroon-colored skirt.
Yuki Saikawa
Yuki Saikawa is a very popular girl among the people. Also, various magazines and commercials used to feature her. As of now, she is just 14 years old and in junior high school. Even more, she is very cute and has an eye patch on her left eye. Though she is the smallest age character in the series, she is very mature.
As well, she belongs to the very rich Saikawa family. She felt very shy about wearing an eye patch when she was small. So, her parents gave her a fake eye that was bluer than any sea. After that, she was happy and started her journey to become an idol. At the present time, she asks Kimihiko and Nagisa for the protection of her and her family.
