Taisho Otome Fairy Tale

Taisho Otome Fairy Tale is a historical and romantic Japanese manga and anime series. The manga is written and illustrated by the Manga Artist, Sana Kirioka. Also, the manga was serialized on July 4, 2015, in Shueisha’s Jump Square.

Moving towards the anime, the anime was first aired on October 9, 2021, on the Network, TV Tokyo. The anime is directed by the director Jun Hatori and written by Hiroko Fukada. As of now, the anime consists of 12 episodes.

Taisho Otome Fairy Tale- Main Plot

The main plot of the anime starts following a boy whose name is Tamahiko Shima. Tamahiko starts to live in the mountains after his mother’s death due to a car accident. In the same accident, he lost his right hand too. Further, he was too misbehaved by his rich relatives and his father. Which makes him live alone. That lead him to live a life full of reading or sometimes having sleepless nights.

Moreover, he remains in the mountains alone and waits for death to come. But one day he hears the sound of someone knocking at his door. The person knocking on the door comes to be a young girl whose name is Yuzuki Tachibana. Then he comes to remember that his father has already told him that he will provide him with a bride. In addition, the girls also come there as a debt to pay off. Moving on, Tamahiko finds the girl is very kind and sweet. Additionally, they start to develop a good relationship within them. The anime then follows how they both will react the relation they have as a two unknown person living together.

1. Tamahiko Shima

Tamahiko Shima is the main protagonist of the series. Also, he is a kid from a rich family. Moreover, he is a part of the Shima family in Tokyo which is one of the richest families in Tokyo. As well, he is a very generous boy with very naughty behavior. In addition, he was under pressure from his father. When he gets into an accident and lost his right arm, he wants to have his fate on. And die along. Further, his real attitude and behavior are expressed when he meets Yuzuki Tachibana. Though he like to live alone, he was forced to live with her. Moving on, he gets different confidence and encouragement from her. As a result, he wants to live his life again. Moreover, he got a will to live his life rather than thinking he can’t.

The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actor Yūsuke Kobayashi. Some of his projects include Your Lie in April, Dr. Stone, and Fire Force.

2. Yuzuki Tachibana

Yuzuki Tachibana is also one of the main characters of the series. Even more, she is a very kind and hardworking girl. Moreover, she thinks that thinking positively will make anyone out of the various types of problems. Also, as she looks happy most of the time many people around her got shocked. In addition, she also is capable of fighting over jealousy and various negative energy. Though, she is a happy person most of the time, she gets hurt when she thinks that she has hurt someone by her behavior or doings. Due to her debt, she becomes the bride of Tamahiko Shima.

The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese voice actress Saya Aizawa. In this anime world, she is known for providing a voice for anime like Seiren, Monster Girl Doctor, and Horimiya.

3. Tamako Shima

Tamako Shima is also a member of the Shima family as she is the second daughter of the family. As well, being raised in a wealthy family she has a very brutal attitude. Moreover, as she lives in a rich family she hates the poor people and uses them as her servants. With the help of the money she has, she also commands the people and does the work done which she wanted. Besides, being rich she is very lonely and does not has enough people to involve. Whereas, Tamahiko acts very sensitively and caring.

4. Tamayo Shima

Tamayo Shima is the sister of Tamahiko Shima from her stepmother. In addition, she is very strict and does not wants to involve in love. Additionally, she only desires and wants what she needs to have in her life. As a result, she can threaten people and even take their lives if she wants to. Further, she also seduces her own son as a punishment. Moving on, she also loves to kill various insects and other living. But, she hides her real nature from other people. And, react as if she is a normal and happy person. Also, she does not in bonding and does not want to be part of bonding with anyone else.

The Japanese voice for the character is played by the Japanese voice actress and singer Eri Kitamura.

5. Tamayoshi Shima

Tamayoshi Shima has four kids whose names are Tamaki Shima, Tamayo Shima, Tamahiko Shima, and Tamako Shima. Tamayoshi is a very naughty nature dad. Moreover, the reason he acts very bad for the family is he was raised in a family with very poor status. Adding to it, he also does not celebrate his kid’s birthday. Besides, he has suffered a lot from missing his childhood friend. The reason he missed his childhood friend is that he left to become a successful person in life. Similarly, like his friends, his children also left the home.

The Japanese voice for the character is voiced by the Japanese voice actor Shunsuke Sakuya. Some of her projects include Astro Boy, Major, and Naruto.

6. Hakaru Shiratori

Hakaru Shiratori is the supporting character of the series. As well, he loves to tease the people who are around him. Moreover, he doesn’t want to get the attention of the people. But he unwantedly gets attention from people. In addition, when he first meets Tamahiko, he likes him. And he also becomes friends with him. Though he is very friendly with Tamahiko but often quarrels with his sister. Even more, he has a great love for music and he often gets himself involved in the music. With so much love for music, he wants to become a great musician.

The Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actor, Shun’ichi Toki. In this anime world, he is known for providing a voice for anime like Demon Slayer, Skate-Leading Stars, and Tokyo Revengers.

7. Ryō Atsumi

Ryō Atsumi is the supporting character in the series. Additionally, she frankly speaks what comes to her mind without any hesitation. Also, if her words make trouble she says anything she wants. Further, she has a bad habit of teasing people around her and sometimes hurt them too. And, she can easily make them up to gain respect back from them. Furthermore, she has a very hard life as she grows up in a very poor family. Besides it, she also jas a very kind and caring heart for people which she often hides from people. 8. Tamao Shima

In addition, he wants to know more about his biological father. Even more, he is a very scared boy who does not want to talk about the things that come to his mind. But once he gets comfortable with people, he easily becomes friends with them. From the beginning, his mother has loved him very much. For the accident he blames Tamahiko. Because due to her invitation for a birthday they were out from the house to travel.
