The Hashira are the pillars of the Demon Slayers Corps. They eliminate demons to maintain peace and protect humanity. Kagaya Ubuyashiki is the head of the Demon Slayer Corps which controls the Hashira.
The pillars are still searching for their successor to pass on their skills and abilities. Throughout history, Demon Slayer Corps are maintaining it to gain the strongest fighter to eradicate the demons. To become a Hashira, a person should defeat 50 demons in his/her training or defeat one of the Twelve Demon Moons.

1. Gyomei Himejima

Gyomei Himejima is currently the strongest Hashira. Himejima was a normal blind person. He lived with the orphan children at the temple. The demon killed many peoples and children living there. One day he angrily fights the demon and even defeated the demon with his stone breathing technique. Stone breathing technique and his physical strength lead him to become one of the strongest Demon Slayers.
Japanese voice for the character is provided by the Japanese voice actor and author Tomokazu Sugita.
Moving towards the English dubbed version, the American voice actor, voice director, and screenwriter, Crispin Freeman provided the voice. Some of his projects include Scissors Seven, The Promise Neverland and God Eater.
2. Giyu Tomioka

Giyu Tomioka is the student of Sakonji Urokodaki. He even learned the water breathing technique from Sakonji. Through this ability, he was able to show strength. And he was given the position of water pillar. Giyu has taken a long time for mastering his technique as a result today he is one of the strongest hashira. Often he fails to impress but he is very kind from his heart.

3. Sanemi Shinazugawa

Sanemi Shinazugawa is the wind pillar of Demon Slayer Corps. Genya Shinazugawa is his younger brother. He has strong hatred against demons because he has lost many of his family members due to the demons. Moreover, he has a rare type of blood which is fascinating. As many demons are attracted to his blood he often offers them his blood before executing them. The wind breathing technique as well as the Demon Slayer mark makes him become one of the finest Demon Slayers around the world.
The Japanese voice for the character is contributed by the Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer Tomokazu Seki. Seki is affiliated with Atomic Monkey and the chairman of HeroHero Q.

4. Sakonji Urodaki

Sakonji Urodaki is the former Water Hashira. Urodaki is also the master who trained Giyu and Tanjiro. Being a master he has a huge amount of knowledge and experience. Jigoro is a former Thunder Pillar. As of now, he master of Zenitsu. He is very strong but his old age causes him weak. He has a huge amount of knowledge to pass on to a new successor as he worked as a Demon Slayer Corps member. His lightning breathing technique makes him stronger. Moreover, he believes that every Demon Slayers member should prepare themselves to fight against Muzan Kibutsuji.
