Akaza vs Tajiro. Who wins the battle?

It is the most awaited battle of the Demon Slayer for the fans of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. Though it has already been released in the manga in the anime the fight has still not appeared. The battle of them takes place in the Infinity Castle Arc. Before moving toward the battle of them, the introduction of them are as follows:

Introduction

Tanjiro Kamado

Tanjiro Kamado is the main protagonist of the series. All of the family was attacked by the demon and only Nezuko was alive but turned into a demon. His main motive of him is to change her sister, Nezuko into a human. As of now, he is a demon slayer working in the Demon Slayer Corps. Also, he uses both Water Breathing as well as Sun Breathing as his combat style. The main reason for him to become a demon slayer is to prevent others’ family not to have the same fate as him.

Akaza

Akaza is a member of the organization led by the main antagonist of the series, Muzan Kibutsuji. The organization is known as 12 Kizuki. In the 12 Kizuki, he holds the upper rank of three positions. He was also a human and his name was Hakuji when he was a human. He shows himself in the Mugen Train Arc. Adding on, he is very powerful as he can regenerate in seconds. Heading on, he involves in the battle with Tanjiro Kamado in the Infinity Castle.

In which chapter of the manga we can watch Akaza vs Tanjiro?

The battle between them happened in the Infinity Castle Arc in the Infinity Castle. They counter each other when Tanjiro and Giyu was trying to find Muzan and Tamayo. Whereas they meet each other and the battle starts in the 146 chapter of the manga. Moving on, the fight keeps running and ends in chapter 156 of the manga.

Akaza vs Tanjro

The fight between them starts as they meet in Infinity Castle. The fight begins with the Akaza punch which Tanjiro dodges. Akaza keeps on attacking Tanjiro. Whereas, Tanjiro keeps trying to recover himself. Even more, Akaza remembers Kyojuro saying that Tanjro is not weak. So, he gives his full while fighting with Tanjiro. Thus, Akaza starts off with his different techniques and the real battle starts.
Giyu Tomika joins the battle

As Tanjiro and Akaza were fighting with each other, Giyu joins the battle. As Giyu enters the fight, he attacks Akaza with the Water Breathing: Third Form. Whereas Akaza was fighting the water hashira after 50 years and he feels impressed by the attack of Giyu. Heading on, Giyu releases new forms of water breathing. As a result, Akaza realizes that he has never seen such a form water breathing technique.

Giyu was a perfect match for Akaza and Akaza was having fun while fighting with Giyu. Even more, Akaza was repeatedly asking the name of Giyu but he refuses to tell him. But, while Tanjiro calls Giyu Akaza finds out the name of Giyu. The fight gets on intense with the involvement of water hashira, Giyu Tomioka.

The flickering memories of Akaza change the momentum of the fight

As the fight was moving in a very good manner, Tanjiro was easily withstanding the attacks of Akaza. But, Akaza suddenly feels restless and he has the memory of Keizo. Later, he realizes it is just a hallucination and starts to attack Tanjiro. The strength, as well as the speed of Akaza, rapidly increases. Then, he kicks Tanjiro with Destructive Death: Leg Type which makes Tanjiro vomit blood. As a result, the battle starts to take a different turn.

Giyu Demon Slayer Mark awakens

Tanjiro starts to kick Akaza to get some momentum. At that time, when Akaza was trying to attack Tanjiro, Giyu stops Akaza and cut his hand. Then, Giyu tends to have a mark on his face. After this Giyu starts to increase his strength and speed. But, Tanjiro was shocked that Akaza was able to match the speed and momentum of Giyu. The fight between both of them was getting the same pace. Tanjiro was trying to have Hinokami Kagura: Dance but he was stopped by Akaza.

Tanjiro uses The Transparent World recalling his father, Tanjuro Kamado

As Akaza and Giyu were fighting with each other, Tanjiro remembers what his father has said to him. He then thinks about the perfect momentum and breathing in order to see the Transparent World. Then, he was able to perform it too. After using this technique, Akaza does not notice speed of Tanjiro.

How did Tanjiro slay Akaza?

Akaza was realizing that Tanjiro’s technique of Transparent World has no stop. As a result, Tanjiro was able to slay his head down. Whereas, Akaza was trying to get his back again for the regeneration. But, Giyu manages to attack him again. Though his head was cut off, his body starts to fight with them. Then, Giyu was able to save Tanjiro. Giyu and Tanjiro start to attack him but he keeps on regenerating.
Then, they provide him with memories of Keizo. At last, he was stopped by himself in the human form of a fiancé, Koyuki told him to stop.

The death scene of Akaza

Giyu then stands up in order to not let his family or friends die in front of him. Whereas, Akaza was in the arm of Koyuyki. At the time, he starts to remember his past life as a child, Hakuji. Also, he remembers why he wanted to become so strong. He was remembering about finding someone to protect and a purpose for living. As he was in memories his head was regenerating too and trying to kill Giyu.
Tanjiro manages to pull him away. Then, Akaza uses the technique on himself which causes his body to bones. Finally, he admits that he has lost the battle. Even more, he thanks Koyuki to make him get his memory back. As a result, he dies as a human, Hakuji who was a loyal son, an intelligent student, and a true lover.
