Vash the Stampede is the main protagonist of the series. He also has an older twin brother, whose name is Million Knives. He is also popular with his other name, The Humanoid Typhoon. Heading on, he travels from town to town to maintain peace and love.
While traveling, he also takes a revolver with him. Later, the agent from insurance, Meryl, and Milly find him. Before meeting him, they thought he was a villain. But, after meeting him, they come to know the truth. Later, he also has a bounty on his head.
Who are the voice actors of Vash the Stampede?
The Japanese voice actor, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, provides the character’s Japanese voice. Whereas, the English voice for the character is contributed by the American voice actor, Johnny Yong Bosch.
Appearance
Moving towards appearance, he looks like a young man, even though his age is 150+. He has a good height of 5 feet and 11 inches. The color of his hair is blond on the top and black below it. Whereas, the color of his eye is light green. Most of the time, he seems to be wearing a long red coat.
Backstory
Vash was not born as a complete human. He was born as a human-like plant along with his twin brother, Million Knives. In addition, he was born as a being with high energy and power inside him. Likewise, independent plants can also pull out immense energy when they grow in age.
One day, when he and his brother were roaming around the restricted area, They were able to find a plant called Tesla. However, the plant was not in good condition because of the bad treatment it received from humans. So, it makes Vash create hatred for humans. Also, he attempted suicide, but it was not possible. Later, his brother wanted to destroy the humans. To follow Mother Rem’s motive, Vash tries to create a peaceful environment for plants and animals.

The actual love at the end of Vash is not mentioned in the series. But he has a good bond with Meryl Stryfe in the series. At first, Meryl thought that he was a villain. After knowing the truth, she starts to fall for Vash.
She even starts to have a good bond with him. Similarly, Vash also wants to have a good bond with her. As well, they start to listen to each other and do not care about what others are saying. As a result, we might see the ending together in the anime.
