After it, he manages to get the hairpin and starts digging into the cell to get away. He was able to do it too, but the demon was able to find him. Adding on, Rengoku’s father, Shinjuro, finds him and is able to save him. Then he takes him to his sister, who yells at him. She explains that he was the offering, and because of him, all 50 members of the clan had died. Hearing it all, he does not want to live a normal life and wants to kill Muzan. As a result, he becomes a demon slayer.
Obanai Iguro: Breathing Style
The breathing style of Iguro is the serpent breath style. It follows attacks like the slithering movements of a snake. As well, he also twists and blends his sword like the movements of snakes.

He has a twisted Nichiren sword. But the color of his sword is not mentioned in the series. Also, his sword is very different from other demon slayers’ as it is zig-zagged like the slithering movement of snakes. The reason for it is to mimic his serpentine breathing style.
Obanai Iguro’s Death
Obanai Iguro dies in the Final Battle Arc while fighting with Muzan. During the fight, the sunlight was going to come. The demon slayers were trying to hold him. Also, Iguro uses his chain to hold Muzan. After all, the sunlight kills Muzan. Whereas, due to his previous injury, he dies through the injury during the battle but was able to give help in killing Muzan. Before dying, he also confessed his feelings for Mitsuri.
