Who is Muichiro Tokito?

Muichiro Tokito is a supporting character in the Japanese anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. He is the Mist hashira of the demon slayer corps who uses the Mist Breathing technique while fighting the demons.

Muichiro Tokito Backstory

Heading toward the history of Muichiro Tokito. His mother died because of pneumonia. Whereas, his father died while finding the medicine for his wife. So, both of the brothers started to live away from many of the people in the woods. Adding on, the demon slayer corps comes to them to make them join along with them because they were the descendent of the first breath of demon slayers.

But, they keep on refusing them. One day, a demon attacked them in which his twin brother, Yuichiro lost his life. Whereas, Muichiro killed the demon and destroyed him. Even more, in his rage over the death of his brother, he used every disposal tool to become calm and started to hit the demon. Later, he loses his memories and he joins the demon slayer corps in order to become a demon slayer.

Is Muichiro Tokito a boy or a girl?

Muichiro Tokito quite looks like a girl from his appearance. But, he is a young boy in reality. As of now, he is 14 years old. Even more, his figure and body make people believe that he is very weak and not strong. Whereas, he is a very powerful young boy with various power and abilities.

Muichiro Tokito Breathing Style

Muichiro Tokito uses Mist Breathing Style. This breathing style is derived from Wind Breathing. It is also a breathing technique that mimics a style of mist. These mists are used to predict the movements of the opponents. The users of this breathing style can also create and manipulate the mist.

What type of personality does Muichiro Tokito have?

Muichiro has a very different kind of personality. He keeps on wandering about things and is focused on his own thoughts. Similarly, he does not let his emotions have control over him. Even more, he only thinks about himself and keeps his logic to himself. But, before his brother died he has quite the opposite type of personality. He generally was kind and understanding. Muichiro and Tanjiro Kamado

When he first met with Tanjiro kamado he flicked the stone on Tanjiro’s head. Later, he was interrupted by Kagaya Ubuyashiki while he was telling his speech. But, when Muichiro heard about Tanjiro’s personality of helping other people, he was influenced by Tanjiro. Heading on, when Muichiro got his memories back he became a good friend with Tanjiro Kamado.

Yuichiro Tokito was the elder brother of Muichiro Tokito. Also, they both lived together after the death of their parents. But, sadly his brother died when he was too young. This incident even caused him to lose his memories.

Power and Abilities

Master Swordsman

Mitsuri was able to become a pillar in only two months. His skills using swords are not comparable to others. Thus, he is a skilled swordsman in the entire demon slayer corps.

Enhanced Strength

Though his body seems small as well as the weakest. But, he has shown himself stronger than that Tanjiro Kamado. Even more, he is also smaller than that Tanjiro but he was able to knock him out with the help of a neck chop.

Transparency

Likewise, Tanjiro and Kanao he has similar abilities to them. He can also see the body movement and organs of people in transparency. It made him so easy to predict the attacks and moves of the demons.

Crimson Red Nichirin Blade

Actually, Muichiro uses White Nichirin Blade. But, during the battle of him with Kokushibo, he was able to dye his blade in crimson red color. This color blade will stop the Demons regeneration.

Demon Slayer Mark

Muichiro has also awakened his demon slayer mark. He was able to make it happen at the time when he
was battling with Upper Rank Five, Gyokko. His mark also shapes like mist is present on his face as well as his hand. After getting the mark, he was able to gain a lot of amount of speed and reflex.

How Muichiro is related to Kokushibo?

Muichiro and Kokushibo have a very deep connection with each other. Muichiro is related to Kokushiboas he is a descendant of Kokushibo. Kokushibo was also a demon slayer in the Sengoku era. As of now, he is a demon and is Upper Rank One in 12 Kizuki.

They both met each other in Infinity Castle. In addition, Kokushibo realizes that he is a descendant of him the familiarity of Muichiro. Adding on, Kokushibo also told Muichiro about their relationship. Whereas, Muichiro refuses it.

How did Muichiro Tokito become a hashira in two months?

The demon slayers must do three things in order to become a hashira. They have to kill at least 50 demons, kill an upper moon or be a successor of hashira. After the death of his brother, he picked up the blade when he was 10 or 11. Even more, Tenzen Uzui also explains that he has very good skills. As a result, he completed the task to kill 50 demons and become one of two people to become hashira in two months. Another one to do it was Gyomei.

Death of Muichiro Tokito

When Muichiro was fighting with Kokushibo in the Infinity Castle arc, his power was not comparable with Kokushibo’s. As a result, he was getting a lot of hits from Kokushibo.

Even more, Kokushibo also told him that he is a descendant of him but he refuses it. Later, due to Kokushibo’s attacks, he has a lot of injuries. Thus, these injuries lead him to death. But, before he died he was also able to blow hits to Kokushibo which weaken Kokushibo for moments. Though he died in the battle, his support let demon slayers have victory over Kokushibo.
