Haru Yamato is the main protagonist of the sports-based Japanese anime and manga series, Futsal Boys. He is a high school student of Koyo Gakuen High School.

Currently, he plays as Pivo (center-forward) for the football club, Koyo Futsal Club. He is a big fan of Tokinari Tennouji of Okazan Futsal Club.

WHO IS THE VOICE ACTOR OF HARU YAMATO

The Japanese voice for the character is portrayed by the Japanese voice actor, Ryōta Takara. Moving towards the origin, he is from Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan.

Besides, he also has good ability in baskets and skiing. Even more, his hobbies include hot springs and collecting sneakers.

One of the good futsal players Haru Yamato was born on August 20. As a high school student, he is in his teen. More probably, he is 18 years old. His father’s name is Arashi Yamato. Yamato is of Japanese ancestry.

He gets his interest in football from his father, Arashi. His father used to be also a football player. In recent days, he works as a football coach. He coaches children from all over the world.

Talking about his childhood, he spent his childhood in the USA as his family moved to Santa Monica, LA, California when he was too young. While he was in the USA, he also won the dancing tournament. However, he returned to the land of his ancestry, Japan while he wished to become a great football player like Tennouji, he returns to Japan.

In the series up to now, Haru seems to be single and doesn’t seem to have an interest in love and girls. Whereas, he keeps a very good relationship with people around him as he has very friendly behavior.

But, he has a very difficult time with Seiichiro Sakaki. In the series, we can watch both of them quarreling with each other most of the time. Moreover, Seiichiro does not pass the ball to Haru though he asks for the pass multiple times.

He has red color eyes with red hair. Moreover, he also has a very good height that a futsal player needs and that is 169 cm. Even more, he has a weight of 55 kg.

In addition, he has a very kind personality and becomes friends with people around him very easily besides Seiichiro. Additionally, he has short hair with red color and his eyes are also of red color. Further, he wears a jersey with the number 7 on it. Also, he wears two bands of blue color on his left hand.

WHY DID HARU YAMATO START PLAYING FUTSAL?

Haru Yamato was not that much fond of football. As he was grown in the USA he has a hobby of dancing there. One day, while watching TV he saw Tennouji playing from Japan. And, he fell in love with the game of Tennouji. Which leads him to come to Japan and play futsal. Whereas, he also has a dream to become a good player like Tennouji.

At first, Haru seems to be a beginner while playing futsal. Later, he keeps on growing practicing, and coordinating with the team. Moreover, he starts to get to know a lot about futsal slowly. Likewise, he keeps on increasing his skills gradually after the progression of episodes.
