Rent-A-Girlfriend is a romance comedy Japanese anime and manga series. The manga is written and illustrated by the Manga Artist, Reiji Miyajima. Also, the manga was first serialized on July 12, 2017, in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine.

Moving towards the anime, the anime was aired on July 11, 2020, on English Network, Animax. The anime is directed by the director Kazuomi Koga. Further, the anime is animated by TMS Entertainment studio.

What is the plot of Rent-A-Girlfriend season 2?

Likewise, season 1 season 2 will also follow the daily life of protagonist Kazuya Kinoshita. In addition, he is a very loner boy only after he was left by his girlfriend. Moreover, to get out of this lonely environment he wants to have a girlfriend but in a rent. And, for having such rent he used to pay through diamonds. Additionally, for his rent girlfriend, he meets a girl, Chizuru Mizuhara. But, the person he pays to become his girlfriend as rent stands to become the girls he was dreaming about.

Whereas, the girl seems to be acting as his girlfriend in front of his friends too. Suddenly, one-day Kazuhara’s grandmother was hospitalized and Chizuru stands as his girlfriend around his family too. The most difficult part happened when they both comes to know that they are neighbors and even read at the same school. Moving on, that leads the other rent girlfriend to go after Kazuhara.

What was the plot of Rent-A-Girlfriend season 1?

The plot of the first season is up to Kazuhara and Chizuru going on a date. Moreover, it was the only practice date. Further, Chizuru was also practicing to become a girlfriend to be available for rent. Later, they get distracted and the date was not possible due to the appearance of Mami Nanami. Also, this was the only plot in season 1 and in season 2 we will be able to see how will be they dating each other even the difficult situations arise.

Who are the characters of Rent-A-Girlfriend season 2?

1. Kazuya Kinoshita

Kazuya Kinoshita is the male side of the protagonist in the series. Moreover, he is a university student of Nerima University. As of now, he is living alone in the apartment lies in Royal Hills Nerima. Even more, he has very less amount of confidence in the things he often does. Further, he used to have lies to support him. And, those lies turn out to become a huge problem for him. Because he is very weak in explaining the things around him, he generally thinks that telling a lie would make things easy.

Though he has lack confidence and often tells lies, he is a very kind and good person from his inner side. In addition, he can to any point if it is to help anyone around him.

2. Chizuru Ichinose

Chizuru Ichinose is working as a girlfriend with receiving the rent. Moreover, she is also a college student at the same university as the male protagonist, Nerima University. Even more, she is a neighbor of Kazuya and they both were unknown about it too. On her job as a rental girlfriend, she has a very rating too. Though, she is such a kind of job and acts a little hot-headed sometimes. In reality, she is too kind. Additionally, she used to show her kindness a lot when Kazuya seems to be in trouble.

3. Mami Nanami

Mami Nanami is former girlfriend of Kazuya. In addition, the reason she left him was, that she found another guy and just left him. Even more, she usually has two different kinds of personality. One is she used to show when she generally hangs on the public. Whereas, another is when she is alone. Additionally, when she is in public she acts very kind and cheerful person. Whereas, she comes to being a more sociopathic person when she is sitting alone. Moreover, she comes to like this type of behavior when she is roaming around Kazuya and Chizuru.

Even though she has left Kazuya, she used to search for the girl who have been dating him. But doing such things, no one knows that, is still loving him or not.

4. Ruka Sarashina

Ruka Sarashina is a very different type of person as her heartbeat rate is slower than that of any normal person. Moreover, she is also searching for a boy who can adjust to her even knowing this. As well, she is very straightforward while talking with others and she does not think what others would think. In addition, she is a very kind-hearted person. Additionally, the only reason she is searching for a boyfriend is that she thinks that her problem in heart can come to be faster if she has a boyfriend.
